Good Morning, Loretta!

Julie, hope you can move around more today, take it easy on yourself, do half of what you think you can do??

We are relaxing today, too, just staying around the house, dh is reading his newspaper on the front porch, it isn't too warm yet.

Me, I'm doing laundry, cleaning up the kitchen, and going through stuff for the donation bags again. That's it.

It's a Costco run this morning so I'll get my walking in the big box store. Then when back from that on the bike for another 10 mins. I got full rotation yesterday on the upright style bike so will doing that now each day in between the pt sessions. I was so happy to be able to get my leg to turn on my bike yesterday.

I did get out and walk today. It's a beautiful day of low 70's. We only did 25 min. but that's better than none. It always lifts my spirits as I'm sure you all know. to all..

We were up early, too, only walked the neighborhood and part of the alley, due to dogs running around, chasing something.....but we did eat breakfast first.

Jack LaLanne's in the kitchen. 1 set of squats.

Sharon, how often do you have to ice the knee? Several times a day?

Julie, we like Texas ok, mostly due to our only grandchild being here. It really IS a "whole other country" here, truly. Wow, I didn't know Bo was 13 yrs. old already! He doesn't look 13, and I remember when you and he were attacked while walking!!! That was awful!

I did my 6 lb. weights this afternoon, while the lawn guys were outside and I couldn't go out.

No, you can go to his web site and buy them or see samples of exercises. I do the ones that my mother and I used to do, and some other harder ones, that I've done for years and years, whenever the mood arises to exercise like that again Just like the wall pushups, kitchen counter pushups, bathroom counter pushups, etc. Just make them up yourself to suit yourself. I walk in the house, this house is bigger than our other one, so can walk longer and more often just going from room to room.

Yes, Michele, I'd say we are all "holding our own" lately

It is warm and muggy here, too.

Thanks Doris. Gosh, I remember doing those exercises on TV right after my daughter was born. She'll be 50 this Fall.

Yes, Julie, I did those exercises with my mother, black & white tv, funny organ music keeping the time, etc. lol.

How long did waxing your car take, Loretta?

No walk today, squats in the bedroom first thing, and then in here an hour ago. General calisthenics in the living room, while watching people go by. They couldn't see a thing.

Thnk you SuSun! Good to see all the oldies but goodies still here.

We walked 35 min. today. Bo is getting pretty darn tired on these walks now. I guess he deserves to get tired. I feel the same way. Chuck pushed me today as I really didn't want to go... but I DID!

Good for all of you!

You guys did really well today! I was stuck in an all-day meeting and I'm exhausted now - hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day for exercise.

Today was our 30 min walk and then this afternoon I did 15 mins on my bike. Tomorrow is Pt day so not sure the times. They go up each time I go.

Doris when my knee gets a little warm then I ice it for a bit. It's not as much now as the pain is leaving.

Yes, Sharon is doing very well!

We won't be walking today, at least not outside. I have laundry, so will walk each piece to it's destination, one by one, that helps in this house that is bigger, lol. Sort of funny, how large it is to us, yet we still bump into each other in the kitchen and other rooms.

Glad that the knee is healing Sharon. It takes time and patience.

Have finished the job, walk and workout. There was a dead copperhead on the road.
The mowers are out and the snakes come out of hiding.

Waxing the car took about 1.5 hours. It looks great.

Great Exercise Loretta and waxing the car. WTGG!
How do you do that? Is it like polishing shoes, rub on the polish then buff it off?
Just wondering I have never done that.

1hr Walk with DD and her dog.

Will be adding more as the day progresses at the sink and such.

Where did the day go? It's after 7:00 now so I'm not getting a walk in. Not the end of the world. Will try again tomorrow.
Loretta, I can't believe you waxed the car. You must be in great shape! WTG

Loretta keeps herself well preserved, Julie!!!

I haven't waxed a car since before I had kids, around 1974, lol.

Did twists with weights late this afternoon, after the A/C tech left.
