Happy Mother's Day to all who have the joys of motherhood.

I wanted to load a photo of a Mary Cassatt painting but the photo is too big. Will try to find a smaller version later.

Doris, so glad you are home. What a grueling trip for you and your dh. I hope you both recuperate quickly.

Have a lovely day everyone.

-Louise

Happy Mother's Day to one and all.

Hope you and hubby are feeling better,
Doris.

Safe trip Babette. You son will probably get in touch with you tomorrow.

Hi Louise, hope you can find a smaller picture or perhaps, just resize it on your computer.

Hi and Happy Mother's Day!

Louise, I found a photo of Whistler's Mother, but couldn't find it to use, too bleary eyed last night. Hope you are getting through the day reasonably with your doctor's help. How is Bob?

Linda, are you staying home or going down today?

Safe travel to Vancouver, Begete.

Mary, sending you ((hugs)), too!

We slept like hogs, I'm still stopped up, can't hear out of one ear, but it's better, dh is able to walk and riding the exercise bike again.

Daughter in law has to travel down to Kingsville, her mother had surgery Friday, and her uncle had a heart attack during dialysis, and is not doing well, so she is driving down by herself, she can work from anywhere that she has computer access. Zach and Silas will come over here later on, and we will have babysitting patrol every day during the week, picking Silas up after day care, and bringing him here.

Lost 6.5 lbs., someone should invent some kind of way to inject bacteria into people that makes them not able to taste food, but not feel bad enough to go out and work or something, or cough............

Wishing Linda a safe trip to see her family today, with NO stair climbing involved!! I just had to write down the name of that antibiotic that messed you up so badly, to make sure we don't get it prescribed to us tomorrow!!

Later,

Good morning friends. Happy Mother's Day to all the ladies who have a mother or are a mother. My dauther is taking me out for an early dinner this afternoon.

Right now I have to get ready to go to the drug store. Let me tell you my saga of becoming an incontinent woman. This is meant to be humorous. Because of my broken bones I have been mostly invalid for awhile. So, since I was released from the nursing home, I depend on my daugher and husband to buy me my incontinent supplies. First my daughter buys me extra large Depends for a 300 lb woman (I weigh 135 lbs). The leg openings come all the way up to my waist. Next I send my husband to the store to buy me insert pads to put inside the Depends. I get these teeny, weeny little pads meant for women who are "spotting". So I send my daughter and she gets pads meant for someone who has minor leaking and hold a tablespoon of fluid. Hey we're moving in the right direction! Today I'm going to the drug store to get what I need.

I hope you all have a good mother's day. Hi Louise, nice to see you posting. I hope all of you who are ailing are doing better. Linda, what happened with you? I missed it while away.

Hi Verleen, Happy Mother's Day to you, AND, if you find what you need, buy 4 times the amount you need, because people tell me that is hard to find that kind of thing these days. Goodness.

Did you ever find out your email address???

Wow Doris, that's a big weight loss but not a very pleasant way to accomplish it. Hope you are feeling better.

Not much going on here today. Visited some folks after church and did some yard work. Stopped to see DS. Leah gave me the cutest gift. 2 Large scrabble letters, an L and a V. I will find a special spot to hang them.

Loretta, that IS a cute gift, and treasured by a loving Grandmother, makes you smile to see it!

It was fun having son and Silas here today, too, they left early so time to get dishes into the machine.

Wow. Doris. You lost that 6.5 pounds just since you've been sick? Geez, that's awful. Sorry to be congratulating you for that!

Hope you all have a great day!
