Happy that you are home safe Doris. You must be feeling better with that amount of work you are doing.

Mowed the back yard today.

Glad you got the back forty mowed, Loretta, especially after all the rain you had, must have been thick growth there.

I'm better, but not feeling that good, somebody had to do the kitchen stuff, and I looked around and it was me, lol.

Susan, Thank you for your encouragement!

Is a sink squat where you lean back against a wall? Any kind of squat is a great use of your exercise time and energy! Aren't sore muscles the best feeling? I love it.

Yesterday's exercise:

1 hour interval workout on the elliptical
Upper body workout - 2 sets, about 20 minutes

Hope this back 40 comes in.

Out to walk early and will get up and do workout after I leave this pc.

When you click on it it turns upside down. Not sure how to fix that.

Those are tires holding my garden veggies.

Loretta, your yard is gorgeous. Interesting idea with the tires for your veggie garden.

Sherry, I squat in front holding on to the kitchen sink, this way you can sit back into the squat without falling over.
Yes, the aching muscles are a good sign as long as not too much discomfort.

Tuesday's Exercise:

1.5 hrs Yoga Class (terrific instructor)

5 sink squats to count of 10 each

100 knee-waist twists (5 x 20 throughout the day)

100 kick backs

Yeah, I don't know how people from other cultures around the world can squat for hours, either..........but maybe they hate to sit in a chair??

My daughter's psychiatrist recommended holding a wall squat rather than cutting when she was to tempted to self-harm. They can definitely be torture!

Susan, you'd think I'd figure out sink squats involved holding on to the sink. LOLOL.

Loretta, you have a very beautiful place and particularly beautiful grass!

Yesterday's exercise:

-45 minutes of fairly aggressive tennis, only break was picking up balls
-30 minute walk with dog and hubby, brisk pace about 3.5 or so

Geez, it was a beautiful night. Perfect temps and a cooling breeze from an approaching thunderstorm. We walked after finishing tennis at about 9:15pm, and the moon was bright and full along a path that wanders through forest and field. The lightning bugs were out in full force. It was absolutely magical.

I'm doing housewalking today, too, Loretta, due to intense laundry and other chores going all over the place, trying to fill up donation bags. Will do some weights later on, that's it.

So the furniture is move in tomorrow then? Saturday will be a big day for your family!!! Do you have enough tv sets to go around .

Wound up walking quickly all around Tom Thumb, suddenly remembered some things we didn't have for supper tonight, and had to hurry like heck, and so many others are there in the late afternoon, suddenly wanting supper items, too.

Squats this morning in the bedroom, 10 lb. weights this afternoon while dh napped. Did wind up walking all over hill and dale at Wal Mart, kept forgetting something all the way at the other end. At least I can walk fast now, though, which helps.

More laundry today, and maybe tomorrow I can empty some more moving boxes.

Friday's Fitness:

1 hr Exercise Class, at least 20 minutes of cardio with those slide things under our feet using large leg and thigh muscles. A good variety of movement.

I came back starving! Oh No!!!

Doris, Wonderful that you can deadhead. I just got my tulips and daffs in bloom. Do you know what takes the tulip heads off? I have several that are nipped off on the stem? Must be some kind of insect.
