Ha! Sherry running after a 9 month old is work out enough and the added yard work.

A hot soak in the tub with Epsom salts cured the aching muscles from the Yoga yesterday.

Wednesday's Exercise:

Arm and shoulder routine with 5lbs weights

Walked my dog short stroll really

120 knee-waist twists

Susan, I'm so impressed by how much you've increased your activity lately. I wish you'd come here and share some of that motivation with me!

Thanks Michele,

I have been resting on my laurels for far too long after the surgery so now it is time!

I have gotta wake up that slow old metabolism somehow.

How many Laurels do you have by now, Sharon? Is the therapist nice and friendly to you, sometimes they are not.

Friday is my in home PT's last day. She's letting my doctor know so he can start me into out care PT. She had me on my stationary bike and now has me on half rotations. She was glad to see 90 degree bend for my knee range at 2 weeks. It sure feels better to have staples removed now. Ha.

Glad to hear that you are healing nicely Sharon and getting back some mobility.

Doris hope you are feeling better and that bug is leaving.

WTG Susan. you are getting back at it.

Walk and workout for me. Beautiful weather here. Saw a herd (7) of deer on my walk.

My plans for formal exercise unraveled yesterday. Just a bit of yard work and running after a 9 month old.
Ok saw this when checking out. I got up and did 9 min of zumba. I kept true to form in the first set, the second set I cut back on those lovely squats.BUT I did keep moving in the aerobic section of the dance. Even tho I could not follow her I made up my own movements. L o l.

Thanks for the encouragement!! It is much needed. I feel better now.

Susan, great work out!! This is why I came back. I needed that extra push. Sometimes just reading the posts will motivate me into doing something.

Glad to hear that my humble posts are motivating to you Sheila.
Is that a DVD that you have for the Zumba? WTGG! That is sure a good work out. I see that you are steadily increasing your time.

Thank you for the invitation to come down to Florida, but I just got back from 5 weeks in Florida with DS. I have been back home 2 weeks now. He is just outside Orlando. Those 90's temps are way to hot for me.
I hope to head back down to him come Winter time.

Friday's Exercise:

1 hr exercise class to great music, thigh, abs, gluts, some cardio, 5lbs arm weights.

Walked the dog, a stroll

120 knee-waist twists

15 sink push ups

Up and down the stairs with boxes

Do you like the bike, Sharon, would you like to do that more as time moves on, as part of a regular routine? I loved it when I had time to ride for long periods of time.

Today I didn't do much of anything, not even spending a lot of time running in Tom Thumb to grab some stuff to bring home.

Lazy day tomorrow, most likely.

Oh yes I like the bike Doris. I'll be glad to be able to do some peddling on it as soon as my knee allows it.
