Well, yesterday afternoon we had pretty major family drama on top of my being sick, and my food addiction got the best of me for dinner and evening snack was somewhat out of bounds as well. Dusting myself off today though.

On the bright side, yesterday's breakfast and lunch were on target, as was today's breakfast.

Thursday

B: 2 scrambled eggs, 3 red mini peppers, 1/8 cup of cashews

L: Protein shake with 4 oz of Hood Low Carb milk, blueberries, strawberries, and broccoli.

D: Beef stir fry with mushrooms, onions, peppers, water chestnuts, snow peas, and broccoli

Snack: 1oz piece of sharp cheese, cucumber slices

Drinks: Black coffee and water

Gotta go out today and find some gluten free soy sauce.

Yesterday was hard food-wise. Very cravy in the late afternoon and evening. Resorted to eating peanut halves with drops of sugar free honey on top to try to calm it down. LOL.

Today's menu:

B: Protein shake with Hood milk, blueberries, strawberries, and broccoli

L: Salad topped with grilled ham steak

D: Left over beef stir fry

S: Nuts and cheese

Any of you guys use a program like "************"?

Say, Doris, have you tried the Belvita breakfast biscuits? I got the apple/cinnamon ones and love them. They are very filling and I like what they contain...but, the problem is finding them. Now I see that Nature Valley has a breakfast biscuit on the market so may try them.

Don't know if it reflects on my healing process, but I'm back to not being hungry and eating only because I know I'll feel better if I do.

B. lo burger patty with swiss cheese

S. Costco chicken breast on a potato roll...waters to drink most of the day.

Eating a Dannon light Greek yogurt and a couple of prunes as I type...sigh!

Aha, Doris, so it's goood ol' I-40, or are you old enough to remember it as Route 66, the Mother Road...ah, the miles we've put on that highway, lots of good memories.

Hello and love to all...

I never eat what I plan, but that doesn't bother me as long as I eat ON plan. Given that here's what I'm leaning towards today. LOL. Breakfast is accurate cause I already had that.

B: 2 scrambled eggs, 1 piece of sausage, cucumber, 1/2 can V8 spicy tomato juice
L: Protein shake with broccoli, strawberries, blueberries
D: Ham Steak, Salad
Snacks 1 and 2: Mixed nuts, cashews, slice of cheese, mini red peppers
Drinks: Water and coffee

It's a beautiful day here. We're relaxing on the porch, looking forward to the pool getting warm enough for a swim!
