SATURDAY'S Roll CALL, April 26

Verleen, hope you lose that "bug" and feel better tomorrow!

Let's all have a good night of rest, ALL of us. Wishing a comfortable night for those who are ill or getting over procedures.

Off to bed to read.

So good to see Verleen back with us, and sincerely hope she is feeling better.

Now if Lainey would check in. Too bad I gave an extra little tablet to my cleaning gal when Lainey could have used it to at least connect with us.

Doris, sleep well. You have been so busy with Silas, but at least you are having a blast with him.

Night all.

Just checking in to say hi and get on with the normal Saturday errands.

Hope you all enjoy your day - Sending a special hello to Sharon, Verleen, and Louise. Glad Doug is back home safe and sound. Also, wishing Susan a safe trip home.

BBL,
Michele

Yes, Susan will be "winging" her way back to reality soon enough.

Hope you get all your usual errands done today, Michele, and can enjoy the weather and not be hounded by it.

Linda, can you walk at the Glen again?

Wish Lainey's gal pal would let her use her computer, or someone at church would help her out, they have helped her before.

Quiet day today, doing light chores, dh will grill some thighs, and just general upkeep going on. Hibiscus flowers are blooming so well, they needed some warmth.

to Verleen, Sharon with her knee mending, Louise not having so much pain, and Doug, also in my thoughts.

Off to get something to eat!

Good morning all...cold wave passing through our neck o'the woods dropped a bit of rain last night and over three feet of snow at Mammoth in the high Sierra's. Temps in the 60's today and tomorrow, then climbing into the mid-90's by mid-week. Wonder what this cold wave will bring to your neck o'the woods? That last one was a real bad'un. Hope it's not a harbinger of truly bad weather patterns.

Doris, thanks for the explanation...ants are my problem with hummer feeders, so if I put them back out I'll try the cooking spray.

Waving at all and hoping you have a great day.

Just finished my brunch. I slept in this morning. Changed the sheets which are washing now and will do my blanket next. Haven't used one all week now. Too bad Susan is leaving today because the weather is so nice here now.
Verleen, how are you feeling now? Louise, we are all thinking of you daily.
Oh, this is interesting.....a resident in the park has started a type of "meals on wheels". For $6.50 he delivers a dinner to you. My dd and I tried it last week and it was good. So, today I will be getting chicken patty, macaroni and cheese, veggie, salad, dinner roll, and dessert. Later on today, I'll order for tomorrow.roast beef, mashed potatoes, carrots, salad, dinner roll, and dessert. You can order whenever you wish. He has a menu all set up for four weeks. So, for one that doesn't like to cook (or can't) it's a good deal.
Lainey must be lost without a computer
Have a nice weekend, everyone.

Julie, what a great idea for you folks that live there, I'd jump at the chance to not have to cook all the time, and just regular food, what the heck!!! Glad you have that choice.

Off to see if my thighs are ready......
