Happy Easter back at you, Loretta. Been remiss about posting, but tomorrows plan is.

Brunch: Two fried eggs, bacon and one slice of sprouted flax toast. Coffee

Dinner: tiny baked ham, ( just two of us and he doesn't like it) sf coleslaw, butternut squash and coffee.

PM Chardonnay and some leftover ham.

Sunday's foods

B: 2 pancakes with blueberries, eggs, scrambled, hot black coffee

L: some light baby bel cheese rounds, red grapes and black coffee

Snack: depends on if the kids come, but black coffee, for sure

D: grilled sausage from Hillshire Farms or some such thing, and boring green salad, and small baked potato. black coffee

Evening snack: cut up strawberries, cool whip, and some chocolate. black coffee

Easter Sunday

Brunch: scrambled eggs with cheese and three slices of bacon...coffee with cream

Dinner: ham, mashed butternut squash, faux mashed ( aka cauliflower) and coffee with cream. . probably iced

PM Chardonnay and maybe a piece of crustless pumpkin SF pie.

Changed my lunch to a hot dog, and black coffee, kids came early and left awhile ago, we will eat our sausage alone, but had a lot of fun. :)

Good day all told even if I did lock keys in the car and had to call AAA...sigh! Dinner at Nancy's so glad I didn't have to cook and clean up after. Tomorrow it's dinner with the Friends Forever (sisters from the church) group so that's another day I'll not be cleaning except I'll be making my hot bean dip and spanish rice for the group.

Brunch. after church, bacon, eggs and toast, pero

S. Pork roast, lettuce/tomato salad, broccoli, snow peas, carrots, baked sweet potato, and fruit salad for dessert...

not too hungry, so less than 600 kcals today...

Monday's foods

B: brussel sprouts and mushrooms, sautéed, 1/2 cup egg subs. added. sunflower seeds added. black coffee

L: H/B eggs and Sara Lee 40 cal. bread, toasted, and black coffee

Snack: black coffee

D: turkey burgers, cauliflower, and some mashed potatoes, had to taste them before my son got here, to be sure they were ok..................:laugh:

Evening snack: piece of Colby jack cheese, around 9 pm, after I finally the the dish washer loaded and going. black coffee

Yes, you're right, Doris, I am lucky to be a member of AAA...been one for years and years and rarely use them, but so glad the few times I have. Started with them back in the 80's when I was driving across the country by myself...great to have piece of mind, particularly now that I'm alone.

Too much food, hope it settles before it's time to go to bed. Dinner with the sisters of the church, so lots of talk and good food.

B. pero, and a jimmy dean lite muffin

L. Burger patty with swiss cheese when making my hot bean dip for the dinner.

S. chicken enchilada, hot bean dip, rice, kale salad, watermelon, berry pie with a bit of ice cream....

We had been members for 49 yrs, had to stop when we moved, and just got back with them 3 weeks ago.......well, we kept the road assistance, but had dropped the car insurance. Now have home and car with them, AAA is not too big here in Texas, they have just come here in the past 8 yrs. or so. :)

Tuesday's foods

B: cauliflower, garlic, found 2 mushrooms, 1/2 cup egg whites. and forgot to cut up the ham, too many sudden phone calls. black coffee

L: some jack cheese pieces and black coffee

Snack: mandarin orange segments and black coffee

D: tuna on Sara Lee bread toasts, black coffee and grape tomatoes in a bowl on the side.

Evening snack: Italian Ices, 2 cuplets, and cut up strawberries later on
black coffee

L: Sara Lee bread, 2 slices, f/f cheese melted, and spinach salad, small, kale removed from the bag. black coffee

Snack: Italian ice, 2 cuplets and black coffee

D: asparagus, lots of it, leftover turkey burger, and black coffee

Evening snack: skinny cow frozen bar, and cut up strawberries. black coffee

It's a nice picture of your grandkids and your son, Loretta, wanted to take note yesterday, but my mind is just not working well anymore. I remember things in the middle of the night, that I forgot to do during the day.

Thursday's foods

B: cauliflower leftovers, 3 fresh mushrooms, garlic, green onion, 1/2 cup egg whites, chipotle flavors. black coffee, barely had time

L: tuna on toast, Sara Lee bread, artichoke hearts, 3 from the jar. black coffee

Snack: Italian Ice, and iced black coffee

D: hamburger patty, some flavored rice, and raw broccoli, from the bag.

Evening snack: Colby cheese sticks, 2, and skinny cow frozen bar on a stick

Adam, the youngest DG is soon to be 9 in October. Leah is now 11.
Oldest DS has reached the 50 degree mark. He was not happy to get AARP info in the mail.
