EXERCISE WEEK, April 13 - April 19
I feel as though I've been slacking with the dailies, and can't seem to catch up with myself, too many things going on living here :dunno:

Can only try to do more and be more consistant. :o

Now that the weather has gotten a little better I am able to get out and walk almost 'daily. That's a good feeling.

I am consistent as I can be with my running. At least 5 days a week. Less consistent with weight lifting. I am re-starting that with a trainer this time to get a more solid routine built than going willy nilly like I was on Monday. So I figured I'd check in to this thread. I have at least 5 more inches to lose in my belly so I need to get something going.

Hello, madmarsha, welcome to our "Golden Gals" group, with a guy posting now and then, too ;).

Did the Jack LaLanne's already, the kitchen counter and wall pushups and doing the weights later on, while dh naps, so I can take my time. That's it for today, too many things to take care of around this house today.

Ran yesterday. After my w/l'g session tonight, I will run again. I feel like running now, tho. But I am really not wanting to overdo it. More is not better.

Been hurrying around the yard, picking up blowing stuff, lol.

It's too cold to walk and be comfortable out in the back alley, did the kitchen and house push ups, and line danced in the hall way to fast music, done now, and that's it, preparing the rooms for grandson for later on. Need time to pre-fix dinner, so it can be heated up as soon as we come back home. No weights today at all.

Will be walking at Lowe's yet again this afternoon, and doing squats this morning, without weights. That's it............not enough time, unpacking some boxes from the garage.

Ran today. A GOOD 1.5 miles. I am refocusing on just bettering my 1 mile or 1.5 mile rather than distance. Unless I FEEL like staying out there. Sometimes I don't want to quit even if -- or maybe especially because -- it's a run/walk.

Will do lifting tonight or early tomorrow morning.

We were miserable at the plant section at Lowe's, there seems to be a wind tunnel affect through out the nursery section, the cashiers had on winter coats and hats, gloves, and the customers were complaining that they should do something about it, yet, still buying stuff, lol. Last August, when we first went there, we noticed the "breeze", but then it felt good............;) Heading out to the car, the wind could knock tall items out of your cart, and the doors to the car flew open and stayed that way.

See you tomorrow, Loretta, hope the ultra cold leaves soon. No fun to walk in the cold now, in April.

The temp has warmed up a bit. Got that walk done and exercise workout done. I was up early and can't seem to sleep well lately, so I just get up.

Yesterday just walked at Wal Mart, shopping, and some yard work, nothing too much though.

Today did the squats in the bedroom, early morning, and Silas is coming here soon, dil is bringing him over, so we don't need to drive over. That will keep me busy, but not running.

Haven't done a danged thing today, lazy day, no Easter egg hunt at that park, daughter in law had to finally go to a doctor about her laryngitis, he says it's a virus and could be a week before she can speak again, so she is to rest and drink lots of liquids. They will only drop by tomorrow for Silas to hunt eggs and get his basket, have a quick bite to eat and head back home.

Lazy day, dh has boxing lined up tonight, so we will be having "boxing date night", lol. No real exercise at all, LAZY !!

I haven't exactly been doing nothing, BUT trying to phase into a new/different routine has left me lacking. Bought some DBs for use at home, but I think I need to make sure I still go to the gym for now. It's hard to not do something if you've actually left the house to go do it. Now, I don't that problem with running. I'll run. But it's more the timing of when I SHOULD run combined with the weightlifting.
