Grrrr. Our new paint is looking worse....our tan color has somehow turned into an even uglier green than we had....

Thanks for the start off, Doris.

Yes, I worried about the paint color, also. The swatches are never really correct, and it's a chance you take. When we painted our first old house, our lavender bedroom never was really right, and we painted it 3 times. Doggone it!! Not a cheap thing..........sorry, Begete.

Howdy, Linda.

There are big storms just north of us, supposed to move down after lunch time, but who knows...........Texas weather is really weird.

Later, have a good day, friends. Have to fix dh's food for sure, now.

Sharon, wishing you at least a "fruitful" appt. and some answers to fix you up so you can get around better

It is so sticky humid today, even the kitchen counters are sort of "dampish", clothes, the newspaper, etc............

Good Morning all and thanks Doris for opening.

Soc. Sec. Deposit Day- I' m rich, I' m rich "Hardy Har"... well I do get to feel flush till the auto pays start kicking in then till next time. Atkins frozen dinners will lay me low with any extra.
Decided to go with a manuel mower that has a bag and get real good upper body work outs... I ain't machinacal and I am dealing with it this way.
Off I go to Wally's I go or the big stores like Lowe's or Home Depot but I still have a remnet of a gift card at Wally's World.
Those storms sound scarey but generally miss us except from some rain. We are doing nigh on 80's this week with sun so yet again I am caught with no summer clothes brouht out. "every day I' shuffeling, shuffeling!".
Louise- Pretty Lady, thinking of you and of course our Verleen.
bbl
almost signed my nick name from baby hood- mary anne and I use each others all the time now. She is MeMe and I called vegitables "Bubbles" as a baby and it stuck- the horse drawn veggie wagons in Charleston, S.C. would yell out "VEGI-TUBBLES--- VEGI-TUBBLES and I would crawl around calling "BUBBLES-BUBBLES". My children's to me favorites were H.J. "yesterniht" for last niht and Ila- "rosy bop" for story book. Oh, and H.J. called the wind- "winding".
Sorry, don't go down the history road that much.
Yall all have a good day.

Oh, Doris- when we lived in a apartment on the round floor on Long Island even the sheets at niht would feel damp and I hated to get into the bed. Not a problem in our house when we moved.

Good morning y'all...our rain is over and the sun is a-shining brightly over the clear skies. That was some terrible hail over the mid-west yesterday, so it may be the harbinger of what's to come this summer. Hope all is well with all y'all.

Off to the Spanish class, so will bbl...

Lainey, our grandson says "it's winding" whenever we step outside and it's always "windy" here, it's nice to remember the little things our kids said and did when they were so young!!!

I thought I posted this earlier, I think I'm losing what little brains I have, friends..............

Good evening all..thought I'd check back in while my soup is heating to see what y'all were doing today...and everyone's out doing, not posting. Weather must be improving to allow y'all to get out and about. Lazy day for me, but I did get a few things picked up, washed, sorted and thrown away...so just a lazy day.

Hope you did something wonderful today.

Sharon, sorry and glad at the same time for you, we will wish you well during this next trial with the knee, so that by Fall, you can walk so much better!

Howdy Mary!

I'm going to post tomorrows roll in awhile, we have tornado sirens going off and on here at present. Well, we kept complaining at every store that we wanted some "real rain", so now we are getting it.
