Is March 9th the time change for most of us? Times going by way too fast for me. Good to read the moving and grooving going on. Can hardly wait until I can get out there and walk with my fur boys again. Enjoy your stretches.

Yes, Sharon, the time change is coming in very soon, I was amazed when I saw it on the calendar, seems too soon, lol. I too hope you can get out there and moving around again, enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. We just got a magazine showing several local parks with walking trails, not too far from here.

Wonderful! Love the walking trails. Looking forward to our Bob Jones trail that you can walk all the way to our beach from the Hwy. You can get your 10,000 and more on that one. Haha!

The roads and parking lots were awful, I couldn't even go into the AAA office, whole front was sheet of ice, and they didn't put out any mats or anything, I'll bug them about that when I finally get in there, people trying to get to other businesses were falling on the sidewalk.............someone needs to sue those places, so they get the hint. In Calif., the business put carpet pieces out front, from the curb on into the store, so people don't fall.

So thank goodness for Jack LaLanne's, lol.

Yes, Doris those carpets are literally a lifesaver when icy conditions.

I too had to do indoor routine today. I keep trying to do some movement of an exercise every hour through out the day when I can't get outdoors.

Hope I can get out tomorrow to my Yoga class.

Today, I carefully used the rebounder, but not jogging, just walking on it. Put it in front of the front windows, so I could watch the neighbors.....barely anybody comes out front here, because the garages and alleyways are out back, so people get into cars there. Only 2 dog walkers came by, and they were dressed with their whole body covered thickly, hats on, etc. But the ice was gone from the sidewalks.

Will finish pushups in the kitchen. That's it for today. Tomorrow, we are exploring towards Dallas.

Did manage my workout but not sure if I will even get my house laps done. It took John over and hour for a 20 min ride to his radiation treatment. Tomorrow we will have to leave earlier because we were not able to have treatments on Monday due to weather. It will be radiation and then chemo. an all day ordeal.

It is melting but our roads are thick with ice and snow. They will take a while to melt.

Loretta, that is quite a trip for the radiation today, and tomorrow, leaving early and stuff, will be a long and tiring day for John, and you, too......
Wishing you a safe trip in the morning!

We walked around our neighborhood blocks here, saw only one lady who walks her dogs most often, but it is quiet here, as quiet as when we lived in the mountains, everyone must be at work or school, and the old people stay inside, same as us.

Walked Wal Marts, and the garden center several times, they still don't have in what dh wants yet though. Tired from shopping now, and have to wrap and store. Might do weights later on, will see how I feel.

Keep going, gang!

Thanks for you concerns.
Actually John is doing quite well with any adverse reactions. Next week will wind us up for both radiation (maybe) and chemo. We will have to readjust to our old schedules.

Talked today with the radiation doc and he says John is doing well and they might add on a few more treatments since he is tolerating them. When we finish they won't do any ct scans for 6 to 8 weeks after the end.

Exercise workout upper and lower body, House laps.

Loretta, That is great news to hear about John tolerating his treatments so well.
I am sure that you both will be ready to adjust back to your old schedules.
I know that I am ready now.

Doris, I sure hope that you can put your feet up after all the shopping and then wrapping. All that standing is tough on your foot I'll bet. Do you have a rubber mat that you can stand on in the kitchen?

Indoor exercises, arm and shoulder routine, crunches and waist twists, thighs and gluts,
30 minute walk round the neighbourhood with some 60's music. Hah!

I'm glad John and Loretta can begin to get back to a normal schedule, too.

And you, too, Susan!

Yes, I have special mats in front of the sink, stove, refrigerator, and even the coffee bar has a mat, lol.............. dh needs them, too.

See you tomorrow!

We put them up because of spills in those spots, Susan, lol, not because of the standing, the sink area is the only spot I stand and stand on........ And this kitchen is rather large, especially compared to what we used to have at the other house.........still getting used to it.

Walking the neighborhood curved streets, to see if some house sold or not, and Jack LaLanne's early afternoon, will be busy after that.

Yes Susan, that house did sell, so that was a good thing, for the folks living there, we heard they were moving to Calif., lol.

Sweeping today, everything I can find, especially the glass room and driveway and garage, and will do light weights later on. Son might come to work on my other computer, if he has time, later on. He says he may not be able to fix it though.

That's it for today, folks.
