That's cute Loretta.

Yes we are getting close to spring every day. Nice to see it staying light longer in the evening. Found a great site that gives the sunrise and sunset times for most of us in the US.
USA Locations for Sunrise Sunset Calendar

Sunday menu:
Brunch will be the last of my turkey salad on a lavash wrap with coffee

Dinner: Last of the eggplant lasagna, salad and more coffee.

Chardonnay at night with something salty.

Sunday's foods UD

I've a weather app that comes up whenever I turn on the laptop which displays in addition to the weather sunrise and sunset times. I enjoyed it last fall as I watched the time slip on both side...so far this year sunrise time has not changed but a couple of minutes, but the sunset times are moving backward at least a minute a day. Time marches on (as they used to say)

Up early this morning 'cause I went to bed so early last night, the hot tub sure took it out of me last night and I was so relaxed I couldn't keep the eyes open. Up at 4 ayem this morning, so long time to eat, but didn't do that much, tho'

B. coffee, ww bagel with lox cream cheese, trop 50 for the pills before church this morning. First time I've eaten before going to church

S. earlyish, yakisoba (noodles, veggies and lo pork plus an egg), water, then my lo cake (has anyone ever called cake "left over"?) decaf and an orange

s. mixed nuts .5 ounce and thinking of something to drink...

1100 kcals...sigh! sure is difficult to eat up to goal even by starting early,

Tuesday's foods UD

Not a full listing for the day, just had to post as I was completely surprised when I put my brunch into my food journal...1000 calories for one cheese enchilada, one chili relleno, 10 chips with a bit of sour cream and salsa, and a small horchata (rice/cinnamon beverage)...1000 kcals for half of what I used to eat plus beans and rice which I used to eat but didn't today...this was really an "AHA" moment for me....just had to share that.

Loretta. no, my sisters are not nuns. Sorry, thought I had explained this before, but I have a great forgettery. In my church (LDS) all ladies call each other sisters, but some are called as missionaries and so I just call them "the sisters" or "sister missionaries." Normally, I have only two in my ward (church) although there are many more in the area...yesterday, I was blessed to have five over for lunch. They have only one day a week as their "personal day" when they are able to do laundry, shop, etc...but their real pleasure is they have an hour on this day only to get on the internet to check personal messages from friends and family. That's why I opened the FHC for them and chaperon them during that time. Yesterday, one of the sisters got the word she was moving to a new area, so it was a pleasure to have them for lunch.

BBL with my menu...

Yes Mary, I missed that too, I thought they were actual "siblings" at first, and then thought they were nuns and your were Catholic, so that was it. So they are missionaries, that is why they need people to feed them, wondered about that part, too. Live and learn!

Your AhA moment, that is one reason why dietitian's advise people to stay away from ethnic foods for awhile, there is not much ethnic that is reasonable for people to eat without overdoing it, especially Chinese and Mexican, Italian. I'm hating tomato sauce of any kind since the last 2 years, can't stand to smell spaghetti or anything of that sort anymore, but I have to cook it for dh now and then, and my son loves it.

Sorry if I confused all y'all. We're fortunate in that we have both male and female missionaries in our area. 'Twas first visited by the elders (males) and since I'm the only one in this household, they were forbidden to come into the house without another person present....interesting, huh?, but when you consider when they are serving in foreign countries, it protects them and the ladies with whom they visit. We used to meet on my patio until the sisters were referred to me. That was a good thing because it corresponded to when we had a drop in temperatures and the patio would not have been comfortable. Of course, now with our 80-degree temps, it's very comfortable.

Anyway, back with my full menu for the day...

B. cheese enchilada, chili relleno, a few chips, a bit of sour cream and salsa with the horchata

S. lo cheese enchiladas, some lo pork chop, and a glass of riesling with trop 50 ( a crazy mimosa), and a half a donut...decaf late

1900 kcals, sigh....that's okay, 'cause tomorrow is another day (down day that is)

Wednesday's Food DD

Trying hard to remain within some boundaries now as I really want to lose at least 20 pounds, but aiming for 30-40 before I start working on maintaining...slower going now, tho', but I'll get back in the saddle soon.

had coffee through the morning, and a small slice of bread a new friend brought over some time ago. (She brought two loaves when I had her over for dinner. The missionaries, she and I ate one loaf that night (they're really small loaves) and I froze the second one. The other night when the missionaries brought the smoked chicken over, I sent a care package to the one who made the loaves and included a bit of the bread with it. She told me later, the bread was much better than hers and was surprised when I told her it was her bread....lol)

a small whey protein shake in the afternoon

a small cup of lentil curry with the smoked chicken thigh...water to drink.

about 400 kcals for the day...not too bad.

I agree, Loretta. Sometimes I wonder if I have a firm grip on reality as I tend to over- or under-estimate most things pertaining to myself...a lot of studying on the family history today...have to get away from the 'puter.

B. about 2 p.m., egg beaters, broccoli, lof ham, a bit of cottage cheese, and crystal light for the pills. had coffee fore and aft

S. stir fry (bok choi, celery, small carrot, cabbage, lo pork chop (finally finishing that up), and water to drink... adding a little pineapple to it as I got a really good one at Sprouts yesterday...will enjoy it tomorrow on my up day.
