Friday's Foods UD

I have a "thing" about duck, too. Ever since, as a kid, I used to get a duckling at Easter time, and raise it so that we had it on the table for Christmas...duck is just too expensive now for one person and my DH didn't care for it so don't remember when I last had it.

Had a great breakfast with the adopted family when I met them as they got off the bus...I had breakfast, they had hamburgers...go figure?

coffee before and bacon, eggs, a little bit of hash browns with rye toast about noon.

S. lo pad thai, with a bit of chicken breast and a glass of pinot...and a couple of candies (buckeyes if you know what they are) and a little bit of mixed nuts.

1300 kcals

We bought another duck, I'm not sure when I'll roast it, this one didn't have that orange sauce with it though, so I will look up an old recipe I used to use for duck, to make a little sauce, and used to stuff it with an onion, apple, and pear, I think it was, maybe an orange, some celery.

That Asian place was packed with people who called ahead and were picking up dinner, we couldn't believe it!! They had so many drivers there, to deliver orders to homes, they would deliver to our house, but we are no used to ordering food delivered to our abode at ALL, lol, never had that where we used to live, that is for sure.

Good Night.
