Have a great week folks. We will be celebrating our Christmas early, next Sunday the 15th. Still have several presents to buy. Hope the weather cooperates so I can get out to get them.
I'm hoping to be able to get out and shop on Wednesday, after dh's blood tests, that ice is the worst stuff, absolutely dispise it.

Evening snack: Skinny Cow frozen bar and baby bel light cheese roundlets
B: 2 fried eggs, 2 bacon, coffee
L: tuna salad LC brd sandwich, diet citrus green tea
D: L/O goulash, diet tonic
snack: SF jello w/squirt wh crm
Doris is there some type of special ice guards to strap on your shoes so you don't slip on that ice while walking? I remember seeing some folks waring some spike looking things when we were in Tahoe one year. It was really icy with snow when we were there one year. Those things did the job for the locals.

Monday's Eats UD
Not messing with MD's, now, it's either up or down...it's the holidays...:high5: and the down's are not too down....sigh!
Just got back from dinner with the missionaries and had a good time...they advised me, and I advised them about a couple of things...that's the way it should be, right?
breakfast about two p.m., coffee before. finished off the last of Nancy's bread, well one loaf anyway...the other one is frozen for the future. so a small slice of bread with peanut butter and a glass of milk for the pills.
Mexican dinner...ordered chicken fajitas, but only ate the chicken and a couple slices of peppers and onions, one tortilla, and a romaine salad instead of beans of rice...a few chips with salsa while awaiting them...horchata to drink.
ate of the last of the pumpkin pie when I got home...no crust, just the filling with a cup of decaf
B: cut up zuchinni, mushrooms, garlic, sautéed. 1/2 cup egg subs. flaxmeal. salsa added. Grated parm on top.
L: sourdough cut up, 2 slices, toasted, tuna on top. black coffee
Snack: baby bel light, 1 round and black coffee
D: leftover beef stew, black coffee
Evening snack: Skinny Cow frozen bar, light laughing cow cheese, 2 triangles

Brunch was a bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo lavash wrap and coffee.
Dinner: broke down and made a meat loaf and had that with mashed cauliflower and green beans. Coffee.

Didn't eat 'til 6:30 and feeling good, just a couple cups of coffee in the a.m., then dinner with the sister missionaries. looks like their schedule is full through the month, so that will be my last dinner with them this year...chuckle.
S. kale salad, tortilla soup, and a sour dough panini, prosciutto and capicola, havarti cheese, ginger tea and water to drink...or and a small baklava...mmmm, mmmmmm, good.
700 kcals...amazing how many calories we can consume in one sitting.
B: after dh's blood test, STeak and Shake, scrambled eggs, hash browns and black coffee
L: H/B eggs and black coffee
Snack: more black coffee
D: small baked potato and hamburger patty, steamed asparagus.
Evening snack: some mandarin orange segments and black coffee
Wednesday's Food UD
Well bounced up a pound this morning after a few up days and a medium day yesterday...but it's all good.
B. about noon, had a lo corn tortilla from the tacos the other night and wondered how it would go in scrambled eggs, like matzoh...really good, so will remember that for the future. Had 1 egg, 1 serving of egg beaters, bacon, a little cheese and some pico de gallo, crystal light for the pills...coffee fore and aft.
s. half oz mixed nuts (got the unsalted ones) and three hersey kisses
S. those short ribs I cooked up the other day, with a little noodles and spinach and a cucumber/tomato salad, decaf afterward
s. going to have a slice of the sour dough bread, grilled with a bit of jam later.
1200 kcals and going to have a dd tomorrow fer shure!
yes, Doris as I was moving the baklava today, I was thinking I'll freeze 'em and even if I don't eat them, they'll make a good dessert for others.
Brunch: Broccoli, chicken, cheese casserole, coffee.
Dinner: Home made meatballs in sauce over kelp noodles, cucumber salad and coffee
Chardonnay tonight with some salted almonds.
B: quick eggs and 1 bacon, 3 coffee sips
L: leftover pieces of turkey lunch meat and H/B eggs, black coffee
Snack: Italian ice and iced coffee
D: one pork chop and steamed asparagus, iced coffee

Thursday's food DD
Had a lof ham and light swiss cheese grilled on Sara Lee light bread for breaking my fast about noonish, tasted so good I had another one for dinner with a half cup of lo tortilla soup.
Couple cups of coffee in the morning and a couple of decaf in the afternoon.
a couple of kisses and a bit of mixed nuts for a snack also in the afternoon.
B: eggs and bit of ham, and black coffee
L: at the Mall, some chicken little dumpy things at the Japanese place, and cup of good coffee.
Snack: nothing, no time
D: chicken sandwich at the eating place, black coffee
Evening snack: mandarin orange segments, and light laughing cow cheese triangles. black coffee
Brunch: Greek omelet, bacon and coffee with cream.
Dinner: BBQ pork steak, steamed brussel sprouts, home made SF applesauce.
Coffee with cream
Brunch: egg, 1 slice toast
6:00: slice or two of pizza, salad, wine
Snack: salted almonds, CF diet soda
Friday's Foods UD
Oh well, should stop with the UD/DD as everything seems to be MD or UD. No hope of losing the two pounds I wanted but there's still a couple weeks, so who knows? Nadine did not come up as she had a rough night and didn't feel like a two-hour bus trip and contending with a fretty four-year old after she got her shots..gave me time today to do more studying.
One of the ladies texted that she was at the dentist and had spent two days, several hours each day so I sent a note back saying I knew she probably wouldn't feel like eating, but I was just putting a chicken in the oven and invited her over...she came, we ate, we talked and got to know each other a little better...twas good.
B. coffee, biscuits with butter and a drizzle of honey, turkey sausage, fried eggs and juice...and 1000 kcals...always surprises me when I put it in the food diary.
S. kale salad, chicken thigh and a couple ounces of breast meat, spinach souffle, and she brought some sweet potatoes, so I had half of one. a bit of celery, carrot, pepper and cauliflower before and couple slices of orange afterward...herb tea
1800 kcals for the day...omg and tomorrow is the church's Christmas Dinner...sigh!

D: 2 tamales, 1/4 sm avocado, 2 spoonful's of chili, some frito chips, 2 thumbprint cookies, 1 slice bundt cake w/cream cheese frosting, coffee
OMG! I'm human??? Well, I know I make a lot of mistakes...your "repeat and repent" I know I'm trying to combat Mother Earth by trying to lose weight in the Autumn. After all, I should be putting it on in order to last the winter. I'm really not worried about it, except when I step on the scales and I've gained a couple of pounds...but it all comes out okay in the end.
I finally ate a Jimmy Dean light breakfast muffin about three o'clock, a few mixed nuts a couple of hours later. And then at the Church Christmas party, I about seven...a couple of ounces of tri-tip (yumm! Cooked to perfection) a couple baby carrots and a few sugar peas...only water to drink.
Of course, coffee this morning and decaf tonight as I write this.
500 kcals but this was going to be an up day so tomorrow would be down with an up day on Monday when the sisterhood has their dinner...should be fun. I'm just trying to maintain for now...things will get better later.
