Friday's Foods DD

did pretty good today, foodwise, at least.

coffee and about 11 had a banana with a cuppa coffee at the mall while waiting for Nadine. About one p.m. had a hb egg, and another cuppa.

Got back to the house about six, so had a lean cuisine and an english muffin, grilled.

500 kcals...then another muffin with yet another cuppa decaf so add 150....sigh!

You know, something, I'm not really going to worry about the weight as I'm going against mother nature by trying to lose during the winter months. Just going to relax and, sure, I'd love to lose the weight by my birthday in January, but so what!!! After all, I am maintaining after losing almost 50 pounds...relax, Mary and enjoy the journey.

Saturday's food UD

Dinner tonight was very nice...had addition to the table, so four of us breaking bread (literally.) Nancy brought a couple loaves of homemade bread that was so good; of course, we ate only about half of a loaf. She left just a few minutes ago, although the sister missionaries left a couple of hours ago. I am having so much pleasure in meeting new people and getting to know other points of view. Reminds me of my younger days when we sat around and solved the problems of the world overnight...many a dawn I saw from the other side of the day.

B. coffee, fore and aft, grilled muffin, bacon and 1 egg, juice for the pills.

s. I had a few bites of veggies as I was making the soup and a little bit of mixed nuts, cup of decaf

S. Chicken tortilla soup, one taco, and a small piece of pumpkin pie, lemon zinger tea afterwards...oh yes, two slices of the best whole wheat bread I've had in a long time.
