Good morning everyone,

The weather is still very cold here and pretty unpredictable as far as sleet and rain goes, so I'll be staying home today. There's plenty of things to keep me busy around the house - but you know how that goes

Hope you all are safe out there - BBL,

Michele

Good morning from Ky. We have 23ş this am but sunshine and little wind. The wind last night was strong.

We will be putting our food baskets for the poor together this afternoon. I think we have 21 families on the list. Some one else will do the delivery.

Have a nice Sunday folks and relax.

LOL Doris, yes thank heaven's we can't have kids anymore. They are exhausting!!!
Hopefully you got a good nights sleep after little Silas wore you right out.

Babette, enjoy your visit with Gabe.

Michelle, stay warm and get lots of work done... Should do that myself to get some work done, but Lowe's is calling my name.

Loretta, nice that your church is putting food baskets together. Many of them around here do that too.

Hate to go out in this cold but I do need to pick up two cabinet door handles and walk some laps indoors.

Good morning all, hope you have a great day planned and in execution...sunny but 35 degrees here. We're on the back side of the low pressure system but I see the front edge is really hurting the folks in Albuquerque and the Texas panhandle. I always hated driving through Amarillo as the weather always messed with me; if it wasn't snow and black ice, it was dense fog or high winds with blowing sand. I don't care whether it was day or night, there was always severe weather waiting for me in the Panhandle.

Doris, even Dallas was in our news this morning with the sleet and ice. I know you're having a ball with the DGS even if he poops you out.

Babette, enjoy the trip to the mainland and with the added treat of picking up Gabe must be making your day. Is he staying through the holiday?

One of our ski resorts is opening today, so the snow bunnies are overjoyed...guess I gotta get going, and not to the slopes. Type ya later...

TK toniht? nooo thursday riht?

SuSun that avi is so very cute. Begete those kitties the other day were fantastic- loved them everyone.
Mary Ann just handed me a dinner casserole over "our" fence just now and it is yummy. She is the best friend forever that I have ever had in so many ways. I told my niece that I would not be coming for TK in Richmond as my jeep just was not in good enough shape and I think I am getting a ear infection. She told me to take one of the anti inmflam meds and I have Allieve on hand- she said that was fine. Mary Ann, her Father and I are going to a buffet place- ooooh I love the buffets. Size 10 is looking farther and farther away- my eggnog swilling will guarntee that... I'll be a good girl but the eggnog swilling is not in the being good part.
OK EVERYONE- time for prayers as I have met someone on a date site and he sounds perfect. Plan to meet him in person next week monday or tuesday. We have been talking on the phone and he really does sound pretty great. Now don't forget. He has a 50ft sail boat so I guess if he does not pick his nose in front of me I am good! I LOVE to sail!

Just saying nighty night.

been meaning to ask Doris- you got a big time difference moving to Texas am I right?
Real sleepy and out of unread mags so will just turn out the lights and try to sleep- eyes usually fly open when I hit the bed so if that is the case I'll do a few puzzles from the newspapers- got a real goodly stack of them.
bbt I'll be sendin the candy coated clown they call the sandman right over.
Sweet dreams and put on a extra blanket- I know I am.
e.
eerps- gotta take the night pills first.

Had to check in after a full day. Had a wonderful surprise at church today. Saw a couple I haven't seen in a number of years but I've know them almost 30. They had heard I was attending church there, so they had to come and join me for the day...several people were in on it, but kept it from me. As good as it is meeting old friends we've never met before, it's much better seeing old friends you haven't seen for a while.

Had the sister missionaries for dinner tonight and used my "Yonanas" for the first time. For those not in the know, it's a super fine grinder for frozen fruits to make 'em into ice cream, without the cream. I've had it for a while but had no reason to use it, but was very impressed with it. You sieve about a half a frozen banana, then add other fruits or nuts and finish with more banana....very tasty and for those who are lactose intolerant would be a godsend. I also asked them to wrap Christmas presents for me so that's done as well.

Good day...no, an excellent day, hope you had a good one, too.
