LOL Doris, I love the picture.:hyst:

Not going in tomorrow so I'll be popping in off and on between outings here and there.:D
Monday I have a Dr's appointment, but will go visit two of the boys and mom on Tuesday, if the roads aren't nasty.

Good Morning All,

Had a busy, busy day yesterday - a good day, just busy. I enjoyed the movie last night - it won't win any awards, but enjoyable just the same.

It's going to be crazy warm here today - right now, it's 72 and it's supposed to go up to 86. Where did Fall go?

Hope you all enjoy your day - I think I'm going to just relax today!

Take care,
Michele

Good Morning. Thanks Doris.

Holding my spot for the day.

Good morning all, hope you all have a happy Sunday....my calendar can't be right? It says it's the 17th already, where is the month going so quickly?

Doug_H 11-17-2013 09:48 AM

Good morning all.

Not much new here.

I noticed a couple days ago that gas is under $3.00 per gallon here.:D
How much is it in your area?

Doug

Begete 11-17-2013 10:04 AM

What a gas price, Doug! it is still around $3.40 in most places here.

Thanx for the start, Doris.

Michelle, I watch a lot of HGTV, and often wonder if DH and I should move to Panama where prices are reasonable, most speak English and Johns Hopkins has medical facilities.....but warm weather? I cannot sleep in temps over 62!

mykneesareback 11-17-2013 10:15 AM

Begete, there is always "something" not right, no matter where we would choose to live, lol. I guess we have to put it on our "next life bucket list".

Doug, we had it down to $2.82 about a week and a half ago, but it crept up to $2.86 now. Never thought I'd see under $3.00 again in this lifetime, either.

Enjoy your day of this and that, Linda!

Howdy, Lainey. Did the tech remove that CD or look at it or whatever it was?
A new modem is usually very helpful, I had to buy one here, too.

Michele, glad you were chuckling at the movie, some "no award" movies are better than the one's that get them, ;). We had the fan on in 2 rooms today, and it was so warm last night, didn't need to wear anything, weird.

Howdy, Mary! Did the guy yesterday talk to you about the motor home again?

It's dh's birthday, so daughter in law and Silas are coming later, for Papa Murphy's pizza, perhaps. Son has to work, co-worker lost relatives in the Phillipines so co-workers are taking over her shifts.

Pleasant day to you ALL.

modon69478 11-17-2013 10:20 AM

Gas is $2.96 here

Babette, that's a tall order - finding a place that's always in the 60s or below - but after looking up Whidbey Island, you might just be in the perfect place for what you need. M

Thanks again Doris for our start and that funny caption...so true. Fantasy Diet huh? ;)
:birthday: to your DH hope you had a fun time. That is good of your son to pick up his co-workers shift, so sad the troubles in this world. :dunno:

Michele, That is a great price for gas. Wow! I won't tell you what we pay up here. Send some up here. Ha!
WE went to see Captain Phillip's this aft with Tom Hanks. Edge of your seat movie, very well acted, if you like drama at sea. I did! There are some quick glimpses of some navy seals muscles as they gear up. Ha!;)

Our next movie will be the Delivery Man.:D

I was puttering around here today a few small chores, then got ready for the movie and I came straight home the rest have gone for supper. I am trying hard not to be tempted. DS had his last PP presentation to do this aft in NYC and he flies home tomorrow. :jumpjoy:

Waving to All and hope to BBT...

Hi everyone.

Goof off day pretty much.
Doris- I cannot remember... did I wish DH a Happy Birthday? Well I do! Let me be the first to wish you a great birthday as well.
Got Gas today- 3.09. Mary Ann wanted more pics taken of her and the soul mate- my hands shake plus they have Star Wars cameras and smart phones. I will take my trusty little Kodak box which does an excellent job... no physics degree required.
Had hoped to hit the ground running to continue the house work blitz- NOT.
Tomorrow dam* wash has piled up again and comes first.
Watching "Once Upon A Time" tonight but am liking "Reign" more these days.
That is all the news in my little world.
So sad the disasters in the world- I really feel bad for the folks in Ill.

Begete 11-17-2013 06:54 PM

Last night we watched the movie The Words.

I thought it was awful, but DH liked it....

Anyone else see it?

mykneesareback 11-17-2013 06:55 PM

nope

Mssarge 11-17-2013 07:33 PM

No here too. It's been quite a while since I've gone to a movie but am tempted by a couple that are out now....I paid $3.35 Friday at the indian casino, it's about ten to 20 cents more away from them.

Busy day here...I guess I'm starting to stir out of my cave on Sunday...after church, N came up and cleaned...then I drove them home (she and her three kids who had waited at McD's while she was here, at it's 70 miles down and back and in the dark coming back). Got home in time for my Showtime programs, then will watch Once upon a time, the good wife and the mentalist...busy tv night here. I tried watching the spinoff...Wonderland and decided one was enough, so am sticking with Once upon a time although I'm not really excited about this year's script.

I guess the relief society is going to keep me busy (which is a good thing) as we've a dinner tomorrow at one of their houses and I will be volunteering down at the Family History Center (if they'll have me) as I find genealogy so exciting I love to help other people find their families. They've all kinds of Christmas programs coming up and two of the sisters invited me to Thanksgiving Dinner (which I've declined as my work family always celebrate while on duty and I'll be joining them.) Found a home for the Lowery today so will be looking for a mover to handle it...better to use the professionals for this as it will take three men and boy to move it out of here.

Hope you had a good day and great things came your way.
