Sunday's foods DD

Trying like heck for a true DD today as tomorrow is my weigh-day and after maintaining all month I want to see what my "true" weight is...the scales bounce so much.

coffee/black, had a hb egg at noonish, later grazed on a couple beef sticks (made a quick run to the base exchange and saw 'em, so bought 'em) DH really liked 'em so I used to keep them in the house, and a diet soda

S. lo veggie soup (gave the last of it to N for her crew but kept one cup for me) with a bit of chicken breast.

400 kcals, and will try to make it through the evening with no snacks.

Doris, wound up not having the Italian Ice last night, so it's still a treat for the future...and sure, I could take care of the house work with a little huffing and puffing, but she needs the money and I'm glad I can help.

Yep, the old housework never leaves us, even my 100 yr. old mother does some cleaning at her assisted living place, because she is used to it, and the people that clean, don't do it as well as she is used to..........never done!!

Sunday's foods

B: yellow squash, mushrooms, garlic, sautéed. 1/2 cup egg whites. flaxmeal, curry. grated parm on top. black coffee

L: out to Fuzzy's Taco place, had something called "Migas", was good, but plenty of it.........ice tea.

Snack: no time, went shopping to Wal Mart

D: leftover pork chop, and cold chopped broccoli and iced coffee

Evening snack: light laughing cow cheese and Skinny Cow frozen bar
iced coffee

Monday's Eats UD

Wow! Just lost my post while I was typing it...that's never happened before.

coffee/milk B. about noon - 2 french toast with SF syrup, 3 bacon and trop 50 for the pills.

S. Red Lobster feast...cup clam chowder, garden salad with o&v, fried popcorn shrimp and grilled shrimp on a mango/habanero cole slaw (didn't eat the pilaf) but had two biscuits, with an Arnold Palmer.

decaf/milk for now

1500 kcals...may have the Key Lime Pie for a snack later.

Not pleasing, will try something else next time.

Forget the parmigiana...I saw those leftover peppers I'd roasted the other day so did a chili relleno thingie with e'm...thinly sliced eggplant, cheese, chili, cheese topped with another slice of eggplant...rolled in egg then parmesan and grilled like a grilled cheese sandwich...delicious and certainly different.

Sounds good, Sharon. I've used my Sara Lee 45 cal. bread, toasted, to put meat with sauce or gravy on it, even my dh didn't mind that, and it was quick!! Sometimes "quick" works better
