D: crockpot ranch pork chops, spinach, diet tonic (8 carbs)
snack: SF jello w/squirt wh crm (1 carb)
B: zucchini, brussel sprouts, garlic, sautéed. 1/2 cup egg whites added. green onion quickly added. Morton Hot Salt. Grated parm on top.
L: Sara Lee bread sandwich of turkey and smoked Gouda cheese. 2 H/B eggs.
grape tomatoes and black olives. iced black good coffee
Snack: Luigi's Italian Ice and iced coffee
D: grilled rib something steak, baked potato, steamed cauliflower, iced coffee
Evening snack: Skinny Cow frozen bar on a stick, and iced coffee
Big breakfast, scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuit & gravey

Snack: air popped corn tossed w parm cheese, CF diet soda
B: 1 multi grain tst w pb n smear of low sugar jam
L: 1 muli grain tst with gourmet liver pate
D: Grilled Rib eye with baby spinach salad, (sure got my Iron topped up tonight. Hah!)

Sunday's foods UD
Should be a down day but after the tricky night decided "what the hey." Made a pot roast yesterday and allowed it to settle overnight.
coffee/milk, ate a cup of oatmeal about 2 p.m., with craisans and dried apple, and a bit of milk
a couple of hours later had a beef sandwich on lc bread with mayo, lemon/lime soda
At 8 p.m. a cup of beef barley soup made from consomme and a lc toast
1100 kcals and a whole bunch of carbs, but the tummy is feeling better
B: individ. container plain greek yogurt, coffee (5 carbs)
L: L/O ranch pork chops, greens, SF iced tea (8 carbs)
snack: cheddar stick, walnuts/almonds (2 carbs)
D: L/O grnd turkey, diced toms, broccoli, diet tonic (5 carbs)
snack: SF jello w/squirt wh crm (1 carb)
Brunch: hb egg, lc cranberry nut bar
L/O chicken casserole w rice, salad, wine
Snack: almonds, CF diet soda
I hear ya Mary, after a poor nights sleep. I too indulged in some comfort foods yesterday. Yum on your oatmeal craisins and apple.:yummy:

L: after my doctor appt. dh wanted to try a new Vietnamese place, had a plate of chicken Foh noodle rama, whatever, with veggies in it. It was great.

L: Ham n cheddar melt, 1 egg scrambled, 4 strawberries n plain yogurt
snack: too many assorted nuts :o
D: chicken broccoli n cauli "Divan" topped with cheddar

Monday's Eats MD
Cleaning and a bit of baking today (made some gingerbread in the Ninja) as I've ladies from the sisterhood coming over tonight...sigh!
B. coffee/2% milk, zuke blinis, bacon and eggs, crystal light, more coffee
S. early, lo hopping john and a smoked pork chop, medium tomato...water
gingerbread later with herb tea, if the ladies choose....
Gee Mary, now you have me thinking of Christmas and the smells of baking then, lol. I haven't made gingerbread in several years though. Was it good?
I had leftover chicken and asparagus leftovers, iced black coffee for dinner.

Doris, the gingerbread was my mother's recipe...yep, Dromedary box mix and a very old one at that...the "best by" date was 12/12.

snack: string cheese
L: (Out) Turkey burger, steamed broccoli, SF iced tea
snack: cinn. almonds
D: (Out) Gr. Fish, veggies, SF iced tea

Not much of an UD, call it a MD...just not hungry since I got back home...
B. coffee/2% milk, 2 m eggs, 4 bacon, 1 slice rye toast (out) no pills.
s...actually just kind of snacking since I got home, had a few ounces of the chicken as I was putting it away, a gala apple, and a cup of decaf...thinking about popcorn later with diet soda (got some really good ones called ICE at Sam's, fruit flavors and really good)
800 kcals including the popcorn
B: yellow squash, cut up, brussel sprouts leftovers, mushroom, garlic sautéed.
1/2 cup egg whites. flaxmeal. hot salt grated parm on top
iced coffee, black and strong this morning
L: Sara Lee 45 cal. bread sandwich, turkey and light laughing cow cheese. 1 H/B egg. grape tomatoes no olives
Snack: Italian ice, strawberry flavor
D: going to the Chinese place this late afternoon.
Evening snack: Italian ice and some red grapes, iced coffee
I sure OD yesterday on sweets and pizza. My stomach was in revolt during the night.
Brunch: Ralph's energy bar
banana or fruit w cottage cheese
6:00: Cajun pork chop, salad, potatoes?
Snack: 5 small soda crackers, CF diet soda
B: 2 biscotti, coffee
L: (Out) grilled chicken salad, ranch, diet coke
snack: mixed nuts, string cheese
D: (Out) parmesan crusted tilapia, grilled veggies, 1/2 glass moscato
Thursday's food MD
Another MD, just can't get back on the horse...but the day will come when I do.
coffee/2% milk, banana about 11 am, then the beef sandwich on lc bread with crystal light about 1230....left the house so I wouldn't be tempted...but..
when I got home at six p.m., had a hankering for Italian, so NS flat bread pizza and a Michelina's Light 4 cheese lasagna with pinot noir...so much for sticking to the scheduled DD.
1000 kcals, oh well tomorrow is another day...thank goodness.
Doris, hear your area is being hit hard by a tropical storm and is expecting a lot of rain...hope the roof doesn't leak....stay dry.
Thanks Mary, we are dry inside, but it was the loudest thunder we ever heard in our whole lives, lol, and the lightning went sideways and every which way for awhile. The pouring rain lasted about 40 min., and now it's almost done. dh was upset because he just was watching "Argo" on HBO, and the satellite went off for a spell, just when the heavy rain cell goes overhead.
We must train ourselves to get used to this. :laugh:

Friday's Foods DD
Well, it started out a DD, but....
coffee/hood's, hb egg and only half a glass of crystal light for the pills..less than 100 kcals...sigh!
I've been wanting a hamburger, so decided why put it off any longer...into instant gratification..oh well, tomorrow is another day and it's not really high calories...justification
Ruby's diner for a bacon/swiss burger and onion rings...I could only eat half the burger and three rings...coffee/cream
had most of the rest of the burger and a couple more rings for supper...diet pepsi.
Oh! and I stopped at Dowlings farm stand and loaded up on veggies on my way to the casino and got some wonderful veggie chips...and I do mean wonder full...they are the best, dried green beans, carrots, yams, taro and I'm not sure what all is in there but they are really tasty. Makes me want to try my had with the dehydrator.:jumpjoy::jumpjoy:
