Friday's Foods UD

This turned into a real carbo day, I think I do better if I avoid them rather than trying to work a few into the diet....

B. coffee/milk, hash browns, eggs, canadian bacon with a little grape juice for the pills.

s. watermelon

S. Dreamfield's. clam sauce, and a bagel thin, iced tea....decaf/milk and a couple of chocolate chip cookies

1700 kcals

Sugars can be so addictive Mary. That's all a carb is or changes to in your body. They can really do a number on ya if your not careful. With my type 2 D. I have to be really careful on how much I have of them. I've kept it in remission since 05 being careful.

Start Date: March 1, 2004 w/dietitian,doctor
Saturday's foods

B: zucchini cut up, part of a cooked potato, red onion, green onions, garlic, and egg whites, hot salt. hot coffee and then iced coffee

L: Sara Lee bread, 45 cal each piece, turkey and light laughing cow cheese sandwich. iced coffee

Snack: grape tomatoes and some black olives in a bowl, ice tea later at the kids place.

D: roasted chicken, roasted cauliflower at the kid's place, iced tea

Evening snack: if we are not too tired after the Carnival, we hope to go get some Gelato, haven't had any in months, and they live near a place. That's it.

B: 1 Dukan pancake, w flaxmeal, oat bran, sf coconut, drops of sf syrup n cinnamon

L: 1 egg, ham n cheddar omelette,

snack: apricot, 6 blueberries, 3teasps of low cal vanilla pudding

D: left over, Garlic n black pepper roast beef, baby spinach salad, tomato, red onion, dsg,

PM: 90 calorie popsicle

Better today,

had a nectarine in the morning.

s. watermelon...funny, I usually have watermelon only once per year, but this year I'm eating frequently

S. Romaine salad with half chicken breast, a few dried cranberries and poppy seed dressing...

700 kcals, wondering how I was able to eat less than 500 kcals last year.
