L: Sara Lee bread sandwich, ham and light laughing cow cheese. Black Olives
iced coffee

Snack: grapefruit segments

D: leftover chicken pieces and baked potato from the microwave.

Evening snack Skinny Cow bar and leftover strawberries
iced coffee all the way to bedtime

Totally, misjudged the carb count on that parmesan pecan chicken salad - it was sooo good, oh my - I just looked it up and discovered that it had 58 carbs! No wonder!

Oh well..... It sure was tasty.... :laugh:

Michele, ain't that always how it goes? :dunno: When we were out to eat on Friday at the Cajun place, I bet those green beans I had had a lot more calories due to a "special sauce", than if I just steamed them!! But they were danged good!! :laugh:

Not as down as it should have been, but that's okay, too. Unfortunately, I let my last two zukes sit on the vine too long, hard skin and hard innards, too. Was gonna make that ratatouille, now I'll have to pick up some at the market....

Monday's Eats UD
B. 2 eggs, 3 bacon, trop 50 for the pills and coffee/hood's.

L. casino, had a hamburger...my first in a loong, looong time, but I did eat only the bottom half of the bun...and, should I fess up? Yep...French Fries with the burger and diet pepsi...shoulda had the BLT I went to the cafe, however, as the patty wasn't really that good...oh well, it was still a treat,

S. veggie plate, red bell pepper, cauliflower cucumber, dill pickle, olives...and about three ounces lo rib eye steak...Michelob Ultra..oh my

Tuesday's foods UD
Should have been a down day, but started getting foggy late morning and making stupid mistakes so I figured I should really eat something so it's an up day..tomorrow is another day. (and yes it helped, at least I haven't made anymore stupid mistakes like locking the keys in the car) Don't know why I worry about it but last year on my DD's I had such energy I keep trying to recover it.

B. coffee/hood's, jimmy dean light muffin, trop 50 for the pills

L. 2 mini blueberry bagels with cream cheese, arnold palmer

s. filberts

S. Michelina's lasagna, small chicken leg and a half cup of ratatouille (yep, I finally made it today and the Ninja Cooking system is ideal for it. Saute the veggies then turn it to bake. I pulled my supper out without cooking for the entire hour and I think I like it better...well maybe not, but just as much.) more Arnold Palmer.

1200 kcals

Hey there, if you haven't tried the ratatouille recipe in the rosedale recipes, give it a try...it is A-Number one (ichi ban) IMHO...or as the Japanese say...Oishi desune!!!!

L: Stopped at a deli place, near the Fed Ex store, had a turkey, ham sandwich, and a huge iced tea, was so big, had to take it home.

Snack: nothing, iced tea

D: rest of the sandwich from lunch, iced coffee

Evening snack: grapefruit segments and iced coffee

snack: SF vanilla ice cream (darn ice cream social at work!)
D: ground beef, dreamfield's rotini, LC tomato sauce, fresh wilted spinach, diet tonic

Aaaaaahhhhhh! One benie of moving to Texas, Doris, Cracker Barrel Restaurants....aaaahhhhh, just the thought of one makes my day. Guess it's about time for a trip to Phoenix or Kingman for a day in the Barrel....oh well, I can dream can't I?

B. coffee/milk, cheerios & half a banana in milk, only water for the pills

L. BLT on sara lee light bread...t'was good, arnold palmer

S. rib eye steak, a few ounces, the ratatouille and the pilaf and they were every bit as good together as I had anticipated...threw a little sharp cheddar on top and pigged out...sliced rest o' tomato...decaf/milk/hood's

1100 kcals and don't know what I'll have for a snack later, if anything as I'm very satisfied right now.

Friday's Foods DD
Love these days in the low 90's, feels so nice and cool. Enjoying them while we got 'em as we know the temps will go up again. Of course with the winds, the firefighters are having a real problem...now we have another in L.A. County...that makes four fronts going...wish them the best,
