Doris, it is good to aim high for your DIL and DS. WTG for them!

Just walked the dog. A small hand weight routine for arms.

Thank you, ladies. Tooth doesn't bother me one little bit. Amazing how painless it is.

Anyway, today I did a two hour walk and will do the handweights in a few minutes.

Used weights and weight bar today, and squats began again.............that's it, too much to do today.

Good for you Doris for picking up the squats routine again.

Didn't do too much walking today. Only about an hour.No hand weights.

squats, kitchen counter pushups, and looking for a place to put my rebounder where it's easy to grab, the kitchen has plenty of room to set it down, but need a place where it's out of the way, probably have to use the spare room.

I'm waiting for a call back from a doctor I found on the internet, near where dh's new primary doctor is, so will try her out, for my ankle, behind the heel issue.....

Loretta, land's sakes, that danged rain just keeps going, we are to get some of the edges of the front that is causing it.

Doris, what kind of exercises do you do on your rebounder? Do you just jog in place or more to it?

1 hour Mall Walk.
1/2 hour Jog and Walk with the dog. ( He is off leash so no I didn't drag him around on the jog) he stays put and just stares at me. Hah!)

Back at the two hour walk today and wall push ups for a change.

Nice that you found a new doctor close to your DH's doctor, Doris. Why can't you use your DH's primary as yours too? Seems like it would be more convenient.

I walk on it, it feels like walking on sand, because you sink down a bit. Used to step off and on, but not now with this stupid ankle heel issue, hurts too much..........hoping that can be fixed soon.

Linda, we both typed together. I wanted a female doctor is why, and there are not any in dh's doctor's office at all.

Yikes, hope it's not the Achilles tendon that is injured. Maybe you need an orthopedic doctor to have a look at it too.

Have never had a female doctor myself, except in the walk in clinic. Are they supposed to be better?

My insurance requires a referral from a primary doctor, so, I am choosing this female doctor, family practitioner, as my primary, in case I get a bad cold or something in the future, and I need my thyroid med prescribed again anyway. There are quite a few foot doctors here, even one near where this doctor is, and this one is in buildings right next to the parking area where dh's doctor is, they are all near each other because of the hospital across the street..........and it's all within 3 miles of where we live. I've had a woman doctor several times, and I like them better, just comfort level, not competence. Lucky to have a choice now, didn't have one before.

Best of luck . Hope you get in very soon so you can get a referal to a good ortho to see about that poor foot.
Nice that they are all very convenient to you now.

Walked all over this Costco, what a great place, and it wasn't crowded at all, probably because it was Tuesday AM. Except we need to go again. Forgot eggs, couldn't find them in the usual spot. But even dh enjoyed walking around the place, checking out stuff, buying stuff that wasn't on the shopping list, etc. finally bought a scale.

Mall walking for an hour this morning. (right knee feels tight, probably from the little jog yesterday)

Small workout at home with hand weights

Doris, I thought I could maybe jog on the spot with the rebounder, would that work for that? I prefer a female doc have done for years now. I think it is just comfort level. Hope you get your heel sorted soon. Sounds like a great Costco that you have found.

Susan, I have jogged on the rebounder until I began to have these ankle, knee issues, it is handy, you don't bounce up into the ceiling, lol, but at least it keeps you inside when the weather is not good. I felt the stepping down and stepping up onto the thing helped more than jogging, because it affects behind the thighs area, like doing stairs. Mine cost $50 at a sports equipment store, and the legs can be removed for storage, but I wouldn't do that to it, putting something away means you won't use it. My dh says he will keep it in the garden room, next to the tv room, so it is within sight.

What play are you going to see, I have forgotten already........

Loretta, do you still walk next to the roads or do you have sidewalks now?

WTG Doris on those new health care facilities being so close. That makes a difference.
Hope you can get that heel taken care of quickly.

Susan I too have a female doc and she is really good. I have recommended her to several of my friends also.

beautiful weather this am, temps in the low 60s with sunshine to boot.
Walked 4.22 miles. Exercise workout upper and lower body 30 min.

Good walk, Loretta!!

Susan, do you have a lot of stairs where you live, I forget.......

Squats again, kitchen counter push ups, it's different, these counters are higher than the ones I used to have.........and then lifting boxes and carrying stuff around, changing my mind and lifting them elsewhere, lol.

Funny how it's cool and nice, we get used to it, and then BAM, it's going to happen to us tomorrow.............but was great today!

Walked all over that danged Costco, and then even dh walked all over Wal Mart, and then even walked all over Bed, Bath & Beyond, finally got those 9 seat cushions for the hard chairs, lol. Plus, dh found stuff at the BBB store, he liked it, said we should just go there instead of Wal Mart, because of better choices. I had a 20% coupon, so wanted to check it out.

That's it for exercise for me today, now have to put all the stuff away.

Humm, our BBB stinks. It's small and over priced. Guess I need to check some out of town.

Walked again for about 2 1/2 hrs , came home and did a few more wall push ups. Hope the old shoulder doesn't act up.

Doris, the play was a comedy, "No Sex please, we are British," was the title.
It is a drive out there and then again home so makes for a long day-afternoon.

I have hurt my right knee. It is swollen and feels tight. I have tried loosening it up with heat and epsom salts. I am not used to having an injury when I start exercising. Oh well I will rest it for a day or two and see how it heals.

Walked for an hour and half around the shops.
Walked to dog on the bike path.

Oh no, Susan, did you step down too quickly or twist it somehow? Hope resting it a bit helps. That's a good name for a play, lol.

Linda, this was a large BBB, but I'm only used to one down in the valley that we went to on rare occasions. I was not aware of them until daughter in law showed me around several times. If we hadn't moved, I'd still not go to one. Just needed some stuff, and they did have a good selection of better quality stuff. We love the sheets bought there, even dh admits it, and he usually cares nothing about that stuff.

I'll be glad to get my ankle, foot, whatever fixed up, it cramps my walking around quickly really badly. Hope you didn't injure your shoulder again, Linda, plus the getting ready for the next trip doesn't rest it, either.

Loretta, I agree too many abbreviations today. We had plenty to remember in Nursing huh?

Thank You for you kind well wishes on my knee. These things just take their sweet time to heal. I am laying low for now.

I will do my arm and shoulder weights routine and a short walk with the dog that should be it for today.
