WEDNESDAY, Roll Call July 17
Howdy, folks........let's have a good day, stay cool on the inside, at least. The heat is on in too many places!
Storms missed me again- lots of "Donner & Blitzen
but nary a rain drop. Supposedly a cool down is coming ??? I cannot wait as I am about at my limit.
Still got to weed whack tomorrow first thing and of course et all baged and ready for thursday's pick up but recycle is not tomorrow as it is every other week.
I am worn slam out toniht and hitting the hay really soon and just doing one puzzle in bed and only a few double solitaire games before leaving this site till tomorrow.
Sweet dreams or ood morning- which ever you are.
Thanks for the start off, Doris, And so happy you are there and almost moved in.
Internet here on Lake Ontario is not very good, but it is a beautiful place.
Exhausted here but I will try to get here tomorrow.
Could have sworn I posted Tuesday.....?
Today I have an appointment for a pedicure and then book club and lunch.
DH has meetings all afternoon and early evening, so I am going to catch up on all the episodes I missed of Drop Dead Diva as I just found out the new season started last month.
Have a good one.
Good morning all...humph! everyone must be very busy this morning. Hump day again, and again the temps and humidity are reported to be going back up....must be summer.
Hi, I'm here.....just want to take up some space on here. Nothing much happening here. We've been getting rain on and off every day. Just briefly visited with a few of my neighbors, they were outside. Tomorrow going to a Greek restaurant for dinner. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
Had to get new password. Will get this I know I will.lol
Nice out so guess it's going to rain, I love rain in the afternoon.
Doris, has someone asked you if it's hot enough for you, yet. That's what people here say all the time,my answer not yet.
Julie, seems like that's all I do is take up space, getting more useless everyday.
The strip is whacked... let it get too high. Now to sweep the curb!
Gladys- 80 derees is hot enouh for me... 75 and under is my cup of tea and 50 is cold enough but I do love a freezing temp with a bright sun shinning on snow... No bugs/pollen/bacteria/weed whacking/digging/watering & ect. plus great big pots of any soup, chili, beans, stew, xtra sharpe chedder mac and don't forget the cornbread.
OK, now I have gone and made meself hongry! I am way over due for a Golden Corrale piggy visit.
Lots more outside to do for tomorrows pick up so I find somethin to eat and et back out there.
Hope there is something good on telly toniht.
Mary Ann and I are going to a "country" night spot saturday night to listen to some music and she says the bar food is really fantastic there. I have not been out like that for 7 or 8 years. Hope it is fun.
Lovely tomatoes on the vine Doris. Yum!
Yes, We were hotter than Texas up here, yesterday and today.
It just tried to rain with lots of thunder bumpers. We had a small down pour which has rapidly dried up. So I guess more of the steamer type weather for us for another week.
Glad to see you all posting away. Hope to check back later...
Susan, your granddaughter is getting so grown up looking, she will be a charmer for sure, well, already is, lol.
Gladys, I'll be joining you with the new password business by next week, some internet dude is going to install some kind of part into the wall next Tuesday. Yes, we get asked at least once a day if "it's hot enough" for us!
Linda, glad you are enjoying Lake Ontario this week, are you tired from all the wandering? Do you take photos?
Julie, enjoy your time at the Greek restaurant!
Lainey, how close is the Golden Corral from where you live?
Mary, will you get that heat wave coming West or will it "miss" you? It's going to hit up where we used to live for sure.
Begete, enjoy your time of watching what you want to watch, as long as you like!
We had the Dish tv installed today, took awhile because of adding extra outlets, I wanted one in the kitchen and the spare room got one, but we have a very old tv in there, so they had to run it through a VCR to get it to work, lol. The techs were so surprised to see all of our "old" equipment, we still had one of the first dish receivers made, had it in storage, and the packers packed it without our knowledge. Sort of funny. Phone won't be in until next Tuesday, but we did get a number.
Take care, gang! It will be different to sleep at the new place, maybe by Friday night. New bed is arriving tomorrow though.
Waving at Verleen, if she is peeking in!!
Good News! We've gotten nearly 5" of rain since Sunday - They said we needed 14" to be out of drought status.
So glad to see that you're all doing well and that Doris is slowly getting things in order.
Waving to all - Anne, Susan, Julie, Loretta, Gladys, Linda, Lainey, Mary, MMary, Babette, Verleen, and anyone I've may have forgotten.
