That high pressure system is reversing and comin' back our way, Doug, so get ready for hotter climes again...plus I guess we'll be getting a monsoonal flow as well. Supposed to be really hot tomorrow, but it was 110 in San Jacinto today when I got back into my car...jeez!

B. coffee/milk, and a Jimmy Dean light samich, with crystal light for the pills.

coffee/black, and a diet soda at the casino

S. lo giblets, rice and stir fried veggies, along with a tall glass of tea.

probably a sf jello and a 50 cal fruit cup later

L: turkey burger from MooLah and a great chocolate shake, because I wanted one, but didn't need it.

Snack: none

D: meatballs and some noodles of some kind, salad

No black coffee, no one drinks it here except us, so we go out later to get some, lol. Lots of water and ice tea.
No evening snack, have to go buy some mattresses while the sale is still on through today.

Sigh! I gotta 'fess up...QVC had a special Sunday a week ago, and I bought into it. I've tried 'em all, but Nutrisystem, so I started it today...anything to break this nine-month stall. I've gotta start taking it off, so we'll see how this works...any foods in my menus "NS" are from the system. I'll let you know how it goes...and it may just go back.

B. coffee/milk, NS cereal, milk and a nectarine.

s. mozzarella stick, hot tea

S. NS flatbread pizza and a bowl of chicken soup, with a bit of veggies and a bit of noodle, pinot noir

Will have a NS snack later with a cup of decaf

L: hamburger at McDonald's, and was amazed to see they are open 24 hrs. a day! ice tea, lots of ice

D: we are going out, son has part of today off, but don't know where we are going.

Wednesday's Food UD
 
Day two of Nutrisystem...wondering how people consume all the food they're saying goes with the plan. Food's not too bad, but you have to remember I ate MRE's (meals ready to eat) and C-rations for a number of years...not all the time but frequently enough to get me used to prepared foods. My plan is for five days a week, with two days other foods....so those will be my down days.

B. coffee/hood's & milk, hb egg, and crystal light for the pills. NS breakfast bar as a snack two hours later, with another cup of coffee.

S. nuked a sweet potato as chips for an appetizer, then NS turkey & stuffing, pinot noir

fried a couple of mozz sticks in the egg roll wrappers and they work really well as the breading around the cheese....thanks Chef Simon for the suggestion. wish I had some marinara sauce....sigh!

First down day since starting the Nutrisystem...weight was down a pound this morning 'though I didn't mean to weigh after an UD...we'll see what is tomorrow.

Had coffee/milk this morning, then a celery sticky, 2 baby carrots, and a mozz stick for lunch.

S. small lettuce & tomato salad, but I'm kicking it with a filet mignon...need some beef! Iced tea...arnold palmer style.

320 kcals so room for something later, 2 prunes fer shure but don't know what else, yet.

Doris, Try to eat more - with all the stress right now, your immune system is weak - you need the nutrition. You can pick up a few healthy items and use them at your son's house. It's okay - they're not going to be offended.

Thanks, Michele :) We are under time constraints, and this heat makes us want to drink iced drinks more than want to eat.......nerves, appetites are not normal. Hopefully it will get back to normal after things are settled :)

Yes you are unsettled Doris and that plays havoc with our eating habits.

I am over and out of wack with my eating since meeting John. We eat things I am not used to eating and he likes to eat out a little more often than I was used to.
