No physical activity today just a lot of brain work. John won an iPod and we just cannot get it to recognize the wireless router we have. Wasted a lot of time with that exercise.

Thanks Doris for coaching us along.

Isn't that the pits, Loretta, you are not the first person who has complained about doing that with an ipod............not that I even know what one looks like. What will John do with it now?

I didn't do any regular exercise today, but I was on my feet until about 20 min. ago, the whole day long. We emptied tops of closets, so son could take his piles of old Train magazines with him, good thing they have a pickup. Packed up an old, wooden bed, that is over 70 yrs. old, one we got as newlyweds, back in 1969, from an older married couple. Loads of food products from Costco, glad they could take them. Will go thru more stuff tomorrow. I'm pooped tonight, want to just check stuff on line and then go to bed.

See you guys tomorrow!

Thank goodness your son is taking some things Doris. I know what you are going through with the move. Been there, done that.

We will take the ipod up to Father Babu at church and get his input Doris. Hopefully he will help. I searched it out on line and lots of problems reported in that area. I will try some of the suggestions.

Walked this am, no workout. Left early for Hospice office..

Good thing to have some help with these devices, Loretta, I'd have no clue. Guess I'd better learn, though.

Did 2 hrs. 30 min. on the bike, and will get in Jack LaLanne chair exercises after lunch, was showing the real estate guy what you can do with just a chair, he is in his fifties, and feeling the need to get some exercise going. He had never seen kitchen counter pushups before, either.

Did 1hr walking in the woods with DD and Billy.

I too would be stuck Loretta not that tech savvy. I don't even have patience to read how to do those things either. I hope your John can figure it all out.

Doris, You are amazing to keep up the activity and the moving simultaneously.

My goodness! It's been a while since I've been in here. All the usual setbacks have had me chair bound. Today we got our doggie walk in and some store walking. Felt good to get moving some. I've also been doing some light leg stretching to stay limber.

You are all my inspiration.

I've been wondering about you, Sharon. Did you get hurt doing too much gardening? That can wear a person out, even though it has it's rewards
Did you go to Costco? I can't wait until I can go again, lol.
Have a good evening!

Wishing everyone else a good evening too, a pleasant night's rest.

Evening gang,

Good luck with that I pod Loretta. Don't have one so I am of no help.

Doris, thank heavens your son is able to take some of your things off your hands.

Just managed a two hour walk today inside at the mall. Then another hour at Wegmans'.

Did a few wall push ups and will see how the old shoulder held up. Taking two Ibuprofen before bed.

Susan, I am operating on adrenalyn, or something, nervous energy, not getting the same pleasure out of exercise that I used to get. What will be, will be.

Linda, good thing you can take some pills and go to bed

I notice some new aches lately too, wrist and right hip It can't be because I'm 66, can it?

Well Doris it's just the more bad days than good lately that keeps me down. Same things different days. Time will tell on what today will bring. The frig. Needs to be fill once again. I do want to get some organic chickens at Costco for our smoker. They sure turn out great and so moist.

Time is getting close for you and your move. Wishing you the best in that. Things will settle down and you will get your routine back when all this extra work is done. Believe it or not you are getting a different type of exercise just doing what you're doing in this big move.

Dh just fixed my breakfast I feel so spoiled. Hope to see you tomorrow to all the hard workers here. Keep those bodies moving.

Doris your mind is too full of the future to enjoy the present like your exercise. I'm sure you mind just travels away from the focus on the exercise.

Walk but need to workout yet.

Just over an hours Walk at the doggy park with DD in the fresh air and sunshine. I did arm and shoulder routine with 5lb weights before hand. Feel better for it.

Doris, You will be glad to get back to some sort of familiar routine.
I too run on adrenalin most of the time.

Loretta, Did you manage to get the ipod working correctly yet?

Sharon, Wishing YOU a speedy recovery and Thank You for your encouragement and support while you are sidelined.

Good for you, "In The", lots of wave action doing the zumba in the water, that is for sure!!!

Susan, at least you not only run on adrenalin, but you can spell it right, too!!!

Loretta, I too am wondering if you got the ipod to work, I'm frankly not really sure what it really is, to be honest.

Linda, how is the shoulder holding up, with carrying things out of the motor home and putting away, etc.

Sharon, I'll bet the smoked chicken is wonderful, there is a place we go to in Texas, "Babes", that has smoked chicken that is terrific, worth it to get a smoker. Do you do turkey in yours, too?

I have bought a large chicken last week, was planning to roast it for our friends in town, but they are so danged busy, they might not be able to come, so might make it next week before the packers pack away my roasting stuff, and keep it in the fridge for us. At least we will still have the fridge and the stove and oven to use until we go. I think. Paper plates, etc.

Thanks for listening to my moan and groans, everyone. Oh, and I didn't do anything but sit in the car for 3 hrs. to get there, dh did the test, we went to eat lunch, and did the Wal Mart two step, then 3 hrs. to get home, didn't even see mother in law.

Our smoker is new and the chicken was the first thing we smoked. Plan to do a small turkey or parts when we can find a nice one. We did two whole chickens and froze won. It was still good quality when we thawed it for lunch he other day.

Camping trip is coming up in a month. Plan to do some to take with us. They store well and will come in handy for snacking.

Feeling pretty good today so will be doing some stretching and the twist to some music. Also stepping in place.

Did 2 hrs. 45 min. on the bike, and then had phone duty, medical stuff, setting up dh's doctor appt. for next week, and working on his new doctor in Texas, and then termite guy and real estate guy called and called......
The rest of the time spent in the kitchen cutting up vegetables for the beef stew and washing a ton of dishes. That's it for today, I've had it!

How many ladies are in your group, Susan?

Completed 45 more min. on the bike, due to another soccer event, and I'm done for sure.

Will try to come in later to begin the next weeks thread.
