More on aging:

~You tend to use more 4 letter words ...... "what?"...."when?"... ???

~Now that you can afford expensive jewelry, it's not safe to wear it anywhere.

~You notice everything they sell in stores is "sleeveless"?!!!

~What used to be freckles are now liver spots.

B: zucchini, spinach, mushrooms, browned. 1/2 cup egg whites. flaxmeal, garlic. chipotle salsa. Grated parm on top

L: dh is grilling thin steaks, for son and dil will be here early to eat, help and then leave for their 4 hr. drive home to Stockton. Fixing corn on the cob with that, and salad.

Snack: low sugar yellow cake and cut up Strawberries, black coffee

D: Sara Lee bread toasted, and I don't know what else.

Evening snack: fruit, cut up and light laughing cow cheese, black coffee

Snack: Suisse mocha s/f hot drink, need to use it up, and black coffee later

D: leftover catfish, stir fried brussel sprouts with onion and beef broth.

Evening snack: grapefruit segments from the little container, and Healthy Choice frozen fudge bar on a stick. black coffee or seltzer water

L. Bacon & eggs at Farmer Boys after therapy...3 med eggs, bacon, hb potatoes, rye toast and coffee

s. diet pepsi at the casino...no good, yecchh

S. Michelina's manicotti, burger patty and some zucchini with a glass of white wine

s. will have some fresh fruit mix later...maybe a cup of decaf

B: one thyroid pill, at 5:40, water.

Brunch: 9:45 at Mel's, 2 eggs, 2 bacon's and one pancake, plain. Black coffee, 2 of them. We were so hungry with no breakfast this morning.

L: sips of ice water in the car.

D: 2 Oscar Mayer hot dogs, mustard, one bun, and black hot coffee

Evening snack: cut up strawberries in a bowl, black coffee all evening, that's it.

s. veggie tray...cauliflower, carrots, celery and radishes, iced tea

S. shrimp and a Healthy Choice Chicken margherita, more iced tea

590 kcals, no room for a snack, but who know what evil lurks in the heart of ahem....

Oops , forgot to post Tuesday's menu.

Brunch: Grazed the salad bar at Wegman's....bed of mixed greens, topped with sliced eggs, ham, turkey, cucumbers, black olives, artichokes and chopped tomato....Ranch Dressing

Dinner: Burgers cooked on the grill in lavash wraps, with big thick slices of onion and catsup. Iced coffee.

Chardonnay

Wed menu:

Brunch: egg salad on lavash wraps, couple of slices of mango Ice coffee

Dinner: rib eye steaks and salad. More Ice coffee.

Chardonnay tonight.

Just the quick run to the eye doc's...all good, still on the drops...breakfast at the fav fast food shop, market run for some veggies and beef live, then home to cool off and try to nap...no nap, but sure rested for an hour.

B. coffee/hood's and with half at the cafe, (miss piggy) 3 med eggs, biscuit & gravy with country sausage...no pills

s. radishes and a turnip, diet soda

S, liver, bacon and onions over brown & wild rice with avocado/tomato relish, pinot noir

1700 kcals, may have a fresh fruit compote later

trying to adhere to the woe...coffee/hood's and so easy meals,

had 2 hb eggs about 4 hours apart,
then a few ounces rotisserie chicken with the new-found pita and a diet soda.

320 kcals

may have a veggie plate later....cauliflower, radish, maybe even a turnip...they had some small ones...
