Hi Lainey, What picture are you trying to share?
Create an Image Shack account, free, and down load your photos there. Then you can resize and share them using the links provided.

Sucky internet at this RV park because of the storms.

BBL if possible.

Begete 06-12-2013 08:58 AM

Good morning and Thanx for the start, Gladys.

Funny Linda.....our cleaning machine is also named Cindy.
We have yet to ever find an RV park that has really fast internet.

Lainey - posting photos is the bane of my virtual existance.

Off to fill barrels that decorate our town with flowers with garden club....

Loretta V 06-12-2013 08:59 AM

My cleaning machine is named Loretta.

Norfolk Mermaid 06-12-2013 09:02 AM

Fi Fi here. yeah riht!

SuSUN 06-12-2013 09:44 AM

I Wannna ride on cleaning machine too. I wonder if WE should invent one? Fill the niche and all that. Ha! Those 'Cindy machines' are in demand for the Boomer-Zoomer population, so that should reduce the unemployment levels too. Win Win. :)

Thanks for our humorous kick off Gladys You should express your humour more often...it is so refreshing and gives us all a lift. You are right on! :D

Oh Yuk Linda on poor Internet service. Hope You are enjoying this sunny weather and pretty clear blue sky.

Lainey, hope you manage to post the pic with Linda's coaching there.
I too find all that stuff challenging.

I had my annual physical and I thought I had sailed through it well. Doc's office called this morning results of my blood work. Elevated creatinine so kidney function now under suspicion. Sheesh! So further testing coming up.
This is the second time, last time was December. I stopped taking NSAIDs but seems no improvement. I am just a tad worried about my kidneys and hoping for some resolution when I see a specialist.
I guess chugging more water down is on my agenda.:dunno:

Hope to make my exercise class this aft. TTYL...

Hey y'all...I was up early (for me) and outta here to the eye doc. He had given me his personal telephone number back when this problem first started so I told him I almost called him on Thursday last to let him know the drops were working and he said that he wished I had 'cause he was worried about me...dang! and he's good lookin' too...too young, tho'. Eye checked out better that 20/40 so we're all very happy. That's the best it's been since the operation. He wants me back in next week to check on effects of the prednisolone...sigh! Looking forward to the day he says, "six months"

Back now, fed the tail-waggers and getting ready for my breakfast on this down day. Busy day as I have physical therapy this afternoon. I was thinking of not continuing it now so I'll have more later in the year if I need it more but yesterday the back 'twas really hurting...course, I haven't done the exercises since last Friday, so it's all on me.

My cleaning machine is Nadine and you're right...we older ones like having the aid...at least I do. I just wish I had started it when the old man was still here, he would have enjoyed having a cleaner house. My thoughts were, tho', if he wanted to help it would have been better and it was more important to enjoy the time together...so what if the house was cluttered.

Hope you all have a great day today...gotta go cut a squash for breakfast....back later, maybe...

Linda, that site said I was already a member and when I ask for "forgotten password and password" it ignored me. I think I have a photo bucket as well but feelin too melted and covered in full body & head sweat so I'll dicker with it somemore tonight.

Norfolk Mermaid 06-12-2013 11:43 AM

Thanks anyhow Linda. I got it- it was driving me nuts! I do think that is the sweetest pic I have just about ever seen. The old lady without the cane would make me chase her screaming "GRANDMAU'- Hair, body and even the clothes are the spit image of her.
Need more ice water just to convert it to sweat!

Thanks Lainey, Love that Pic. The body and the spirit huh?

Well, I had to rest up today from having the houseful of company yesterday. I don't know if I wrote this in the past few days. But my youngest son arrived here from So. Carolina on Sunday. Monday, he did some little jobs for me in the house. We went out with my street group in the evening for Chinese food. Then yesterday, one of his daughters and her boy friend (who are in Orlando for a week at a business convention he's attending) arrived first. They live in Mass. Then his other daughter arrived with her boy friend from Ft. Myers. Both girls looked just great and I just love them so much. The last ones left at 9 p.m. Oh, we all went out to eat at a lovely local restaurant. And, one of the guys paid....wooh! Son left this morning to go to baseball game down in Tampa and then visit some golf courses on his slow trek back home.
Louise, I am so sorry to hear about your chemo problem. I'm hoping they'll find the right one for you and all will be well!
My cleaning 'machine' is named LouAnn. I don't have her too often.
Hi to everyone! zlettuce, hi!

LoveMontana 06-12-2013 04:43 PM

Yippie Lainey, Great that you got it.

Hi to everyone else :hiya:

Norfolk Mermaid 06-12-2013 05:15 PM

Hello all,
Yes SuSun, I love that pic- I am always supprised when I see myself in the mirrow because I must still see myself with my minds eye as a pretty young girl woman... then woman.
More bad news from next door- Carolyn Jean saves her news papers for me and today was the usual day to pick them up- her daughter was there and Suzy mentioned a cancer Dr. and the hospital so natch I piped up with who, what, when and I don't think Carolyn Jean wanted to tell me but Suzy said Carol has a very large mass in her abdomen and they want her to see the cancer surgeon because the surgeon wanted the cancer surgeon to do the surgery "just" in case it is cancer. She sees the cancer surg. tomorrow so I will call Susy on Fri. as Carolyn Jean is so very discreet.
You know, I have not smoked for 2 days and was just fine but after hearing that news I want a ciggy in a crazy way. C.J. is so tiny 5'5" and less than 100 pounds so she just looks so fragile anyway.
Well, I'll keep busy and water the plants as it is so dam hot, hot, hot. The weather men have that hysterical voices again with BIG storms on the way yet again. They must get one ell of over time money, nah- contracts so it just be they get excited about the blood, gore and bones sticking out plus houses with nothing but foundations left.
Tomorrow after hair wash I am washing the Jeep and the Ins. lady is coming by to pick up the ins. deposit for my homeowners- I'll shop a little before the hair.
