Observations On Growing Older
~Your Kids are becoming you...and you don't like them...but your grandchildren are Perfect!

~Going Out is good.. Coming Home is better!

~You Forget names .... But it's OK because other people forgot they Even knew you!!!

~You realize you're never going to be really good at anything .... Especially Golf.

Have a great week. Gear up for Father's Day. It sure does not get the same attention that Mother's Day does.

lol, a lot of "truisms" there, Loretta.

My dh is excited, our Stockton son is coming on Father's Day, they haven't been up here in almost 2 yrs. They can take away some of our extra junk, too, lol.

See you all tomorrow!

Wednesday's Food DD

Pooped after PT...gotta go back Monday for my discharge so postponed doc's appointment scheduled on Friday. No real reason to see the orthopedist anyway. Going to have to start doing the pt on my own...one of the papers I filled today with a question, Can you run on even ground...uneven ground. I wrote I stopped running when I no longer had a drill sergeant yelling at me.

B. after trip to VA, zucchini blinis, turkey bacon, a bit of egg white scramble and glass of crystal light for the pills, coffee fore and aft

S. kale salad, roast pork and added some fresh pineapple to the mix, decaf, and probably iced tea/lemonade

600 kcals..see if I can make it through the night with no snack

Got the house cleaned, but not much else...do have two miles on the pedometer, so that's okay for a lazy day. Good Snoopy report, not only did she have water several times today but also went outside to water the non-grass and actually wolfed down a small dish of turkey breast although I wasn't able to tempt her with anything else...oh well, between Motrin and the pain meds she's feeling little pain except when she stands up...

B. coffee/hood's, steak burrito

no snacks

S. Buffalo wings, ear of corn and kale salad with a glass of zinfindel

s. Dreyer's rocky road and a cup of decaf/hood's
