40 minutes of Body Sculpture (light weights). Includes 5 minute Warm Up.

200 crunchies/100 knees side to side.

Would still like to get 30 minutes of Yoga in, but not sure as it's getting late.

35 minutes on the treadmill for me. Big change--I've always gone to the gym in the morning, but have now (first time today) switched to after work. I like morning workouts better, but just can't get my arse out of bed on time lately. So after work workouts it is!

Had to sit in the car for several hrs. today, but squeezed in 2 hrs. on the bike this late afternoon. We walked back and forth at Costco, danged crowded for a Monday.

No weights today.

Wound up doing the 8 lb. weights after all, it's been cooling off, so windows can be opened up again.

Monday
Posting late here. Did crunchies/knees side to side this morning, then wasn't feeling good. I think my half and half had soured. :sad: Felt better this evening so did get 30 minutes of yoga in. Sure wanted to get a lot more done today.

Didn't do too much Monday because I went to visit my mother and brother. Just did an hour wander and not much else.

Today it's out for a two hour walk, and depending on my old shoulder, maybe the hand weights. This getting OLD just sucks!!

Oh no, not that shoulder again, Linda!! Are you lifting too much, because of getting ready for the trip, perhaps?

Did 3 hrs. on the bike, and kitchen counter push ups, carried the rebounder around for good lifting movement, but no time to get on it. :hyst:

Loretta...Big Wow for keeping your Goal Weight for 11 years! :high5: It's taking me forever to lose the last few pounds to my Goal and I know exercising won't help, but simply have to increase stamina. Tired all the time due to sleep problems. :sad:

Walked around the back yard, picking up branches from the old Oak tree, clearing the way in case the lawn gets mowed tomorrow. The birds were making lots of noise, they have nests and are worried, I supposed.......

Did 50 more minutes on the bike, waiting nervously for the Bekin's guy!! Feel like doing weights, but after dinner, just to make the time go by faster.

No workout today except for working at the yard sale. There is a 400 mile sale here in the area along Hwy 68. Got at church early to help out. A busy long day.

It must be yard sale heaven, Loretta, seems to be several of those across the country now. Even our Indian Valley has one, it was last weekend.

Did 3 hrs. on the bike, and Jack LaLanne chair exercises, and kitchen counter push ups. Weights come later, feel like swinging them. That's it for me.

Doris, I think the shoulder is just old age arthritis that acts up when it feels like it.:stars: Ibuprofen generally takes care of it.

Woke up this morning with a tweak in my lower back. Was able to go to a couple of stores and use a shopping cart to lean on. So far that is about all the moving I will be doing today.

Yep, old arthritis or "lumbago", as some of our elders called it, seems to creep in more often now. Do any of you ponder where the latest "tweak" came from, as in, "was it carrying those rocks out in the back yard"? or "all those grocery bags"? or reaching across the bed to make it, instead of walking all the way around?? I did "something" to my back by being on my knees and reaching waay back into a bottom cabinet for some pans, that I want to take along to the next place, and had forgotten about, no wonder I never used them!!

Good thing we don't need to get the liniment out nowadays!! ;)

I found several of my old exercise tapes just now, Richard Simmons, and some exercise shows that used to be on very early in the morning on ESPN, even a half hour show for women doing weights, it was a rather new thing back in the late 1980's............now, to somehow "sneak" them into a box that my dh won't pay attention to............he doesn't know we are taking at least one VCR and the old, regular, 19 inch. tv that's in this room, along with the old Dish receiver that still works with this old tv...........ha ha. We shall see if I get away with it or not. :dunno:

Same old stuff... two hour walk and no hand weights tonight. Going to baby the old shoulder until tomorrow.
