I've used almond flour to make pancakes, never looked for a mix, so don't know anything about it. My dh likes the flaxmeal within some kind of pancake or muffin or breading, thank goodness. Sharon, you are lucky to have zucchini, the deer would eat all of mine, and even those hairy leaves!!

Thursday's foods

B: zucchini cut up, mushroom, cauliflower, spinach, green onion, browned. 1/2 cup egg subs. Flaxmeal, garlic. chipotle flavor. Grated parm on top.
black coffee

L: 2 slices Sara Lee 45 cal. bread, toasted, ham and light laughing cow cheese. H/B egg. Bowl of grape tomatoes and some black olives. black coffee

Snack: Healthy Choice frozen bar on a stick and black coffee

D: huevos rancheros and spinach salad
black coffee

Evening snack: cut up strawberries in a bowl. black coffee

Friday's Foods UD

Poking around this afternoon, no energy....how do I know my youth is all gone? My get up and go has got up and gone. Tried to lay down for a nap but couldn't sleep so got up and poked around some more...old habits kick in from CQ days, substituting food for energy. yeccchhh.

B. coffee/hood's, hb egg

L. club sandwich, a few fries and a diet pepsi at Farmer Boys

S. Shrimp, cabbage and some cauliflower faux potato salad, zinfindel

s. pistachios and another glass of wine

1688 kcals

BTW, I use the frozen breaded shrimp that you usually bake in the oven, but found that if I put them into the George Foreman grill it takes some of the oil out of 'em...and they're nice and crispy. Gonna try it with the breaded fish one of these days.

Saturday's food DD

Ran over to the new gym...it's great and there were only about 30 people in the huge place..it's going to be very busy. They have a lot of equipment I can use, but the pool will be the most used, I'm sure. Hate going to markets on my DD but running low of Hood's, so went and succumbed to the purchase of a huge pork roast...in the oven now and looking forward to pulling some off for supper.

B. coffee/hood's, hb egg

no snacks except half lemonade/half iced tea,,,Arnold Palmer, that is

S. zucchini patties with the roast pork

600 kcals...high due to having the pork
