Thursday's food UD

Well, another UUAD as I bought a loaf of french bread and had a few slices...so soft it was hard to slice. Feeling fairly good after my meltdown earlier, and back is hurting a bit...dang! I really hate this aging nonsense...but when I consider the alternative....

B. coffee/hood's, one egg, mushrooms, broccoli, half my home-grown zuke with melted cheese and two bacon, crystal light for the pills

L. yep! had three meals today - lox & cream cheese on french bread, a slice of capicola with provolone, arnold palmer

S. 2 italian sausages, tomato sauce on french bread with a bit of mozzarella cheese, white wine...the last of the wine 'til I lose a few pounds

I did have a few filberts and two slice of sf chocolate sometime during the day, too.

2100 kcals but I'm not feeling too bad about it..tomorrow is another day.

Saturday's food UD

Feeling good, staying cool, although I did make a quick run out this morning to get my lotto ticket for tonight's drawing...don't know why I continue toI buy 'em, never win anything.

Doris, having grown zucchini before I know one plant will produce all I'll ever be able to use...right now cutting 'em when they're just a bit larger than finger size; soon I'll get tired of picking one a day and they'll grow to larger sizes. One squash, one cherry tomato, one bell pepper and a few herbs is my limit right now. I'm sure next year in Texas you'll be growing things all year 'round. Do you think you'll put in a frame for some winter growing? My aunt had one on the south side of her house and kept green things growing all winter long...course she had a full garden in the summer and canned everything. Whenever I visited her, I'd go home with a trunk load of canned things...most were centuries old so they hit the garbage when I got home...hope she never knew that.

B. coffee/hood's, peanut butter and banana toast on the french bread, with a small glass of Hood's to wash down the pills...love peanut butter and milk...added a small piece of ham for the additional protein.

s. a few filberts, a couple of apricots, and a few pretzels...arnold palmer all day to cool off from the heat.

S. some of that kale salad with the poppyseed dressing...must say it is really, really delicious, glad the Costco finally got it in. two farmer's-style ribs (just boneless pork loin), and the lo corn, parched with a bit of mo' betteh buttah, more iced tea.

That's 1500 kcals...100 carbs...wow! didn't realize it was that much....sigh!

will have a cup of decaf later
