Sunday

Breakfast
4 oz soymilk, frozen peaches & blueberries, 1/2 oz soy protein powder (Smoothie)
4 oz soymilk, 4 oz Fresh strawberries and blueberries, 1/2 oz soy protein powder, 1 oz TVP (hot cereal)

Lunch
1 egg
2 oz bacon
8 oz spinach
10 oz salad
1 tbsp dressing
1 tbsp tahini

Supper
8 oz yogurt
4 oz pumpkin
18 oz salad
1-1/2 tbsp dressing
1/2 oz ground flax seed

Truer words were never spoken. I have so many duplicates. My DIL as really benefited. :D

I'm hoping to start using my bike again. Going to start slowly and see if I can build myself up. Keeping fingers crossed.

B: zucchini, brussel sprouts, green onions, browned a bit. 1/2 cup egg whites. flaxmeal, garlic. chipotle salsa. Grated parm on top.
lots of black coffee sips

L: Boiled egg. cut up tomato. Sara Lee bread sandwich, turkey and light laughing cow cheese. black coffee

Snack: s/f suisse mocha hot drink, and black coffee

D: kippered snack from the can, and steamed cauliflower and carrots.

Evening snack: cut up strawberries, and Healthy Choice frozen fudge bar on a stick. black coffee as needed.

Snack: SF jello w/squirt wh crm (1 carb)

Feeling really good. I think I've discovered I need to eat before five p.m. to keep the energy up, had breakfast about noon but really couldn't eat that much, saved half for later but didn't eat it so it'll be ready tomorrow, even if it is low cal.

B. 1/4 cup egg beaters, one turkey bacon, a mix of broccoli. spinach, onion, carrot and bell peper and black coffee fore and aft.

s. a few baby carrots, celery sticks and radishes...more coffee

S. a Lean Cuisine chicken teryaki, chicken thigh and more broccoli...water to drink and will have a cuppa tea later.

450 kcals

BTW, picked up an interesting book on the Kindle freebies...It really is the Carbs by Kasia Lanucha. A really good overview of the low carb woe from Banting to Paleo, including Atkins and Taubes...highly recommend it for its way of putting things into perspective.

1/2 honeycrisp apple w/brie, and a LC bread sandwich w/natural peanut butter and banana - all healthy stuff, but not very low carb

Will be more on track tomorrow :)

Brunch: hb egg, lc cranberry nut bar
? for the rest of the day.
We will be out and about, shopping.

Monday's Eats UD
 
Feeling good and tired...the water pt pooped me out, then they had me throwing and catching a ball working on balance...back is hurting so must of done something right.

Found an interesting dessert in the frozen section...Vitatops. 100 calories, does have 20 something carbs but 9 gms of fiber and very tasty...50% RDA in a lot of the vitamins/minerals...chocolate muffin tops. I've been looking for a muffin top pan that fits my toaster oven but they're all bigger..

B. still couldn't eat all my Doris scramble so the dogs got more than they should, added an egg and a couple of lil smokies to up the protein. trop 50 for the pills and coffee au lait fore and aft.

L/S After pt stopped at the fast food place (Farmer Boys for our california friends) for two pieces of fried fish, half order zucchini, and small lettuce/tomato salad...had tartar sauce, ranch dressing and italian dressing for the salad, with an iced tea.

s. Vitatop and decaf

1800 kcals


added...when I closed, I saw that Netrition sells the mix for Vitatops...may consider that.
