Sunday's foods UD

Feeling good...been piddlin' around the house all day...first the patio, then got my kitchen back to normal (I don't really like change and was trying my microwave in different places), clearing some of my books from the pc and generally just goofing off.

B. coffee/milk, 2 eggs, 2 bacon and 2 eggo waffles with trop 50 for the pills.

first s. chocolate macadamias and a few filberts

s. jack cheese, flax crackers, a few olives and a dill pickle with a glass of white zin.

S. well, I'd hardly call it supper..had some lo baby back ribs...and now I'm sitting here and wondering if I'll have anything else....maybe some popcorn and a diet soda later.

1500 kcals with the popcorn, it'll be 1600

Oh my, Loretta, I was just talking to my neighbor about mice inside a car, her folks live down in the valley, and their sedan sitting in a carport out back, but rarely used, had a whole nest in there.......they adopted 2 cats, lol.

Mary, isn't it funny how we like things left the way they were, after thinking at first to move them? My dh takes pictures down, that have been up for years, only to put them back, after some thought.

UGH mice in the car are not fun. They usually build their nest in the heater fan unit. Got to take the Glove Box out to get at it. Not a fun project.

Sunday menu;

leftover chicken pieces, cantaloupe cubes and coffee for brunch.

Dinner: Burgers and dogs cooked on the grill, no buns, and coffee.

Chardonnay tonight.

Monday's Eats DD

I've been feeling really tired on my down days which is contrary to how it was working earlier on...oh well, some days are diamonds... Spent way too much at Sam's, someone mentioned $300 at Costco on the daily thread...well, that's what I spent at Sam's. Which is way too much for a single lady...well, I did buy the bigger Keurig, the one with a reservoir...my little one was a single cup pourover. Sam's was $20 cheaper than Costco, so that was the incentive. Drinking my first cup from it now.

I went to Sam's 'cause they're the only one that carries the coffee I like. Then, I didn't buy it as they had a Green Mountain one that looked very interesting, so I'm changing my favorite. Picked up more stuff for the freezer...some frozen dinners. Thinking that I'll try those to limit my calories on the DD's. So, we'll see what we will see.

Had black coffee before breaking my fast at five p.m. with a Healthy Choice steamable and a bit of salmon...stopped at Fresh & Easy and nibbled on radishes and grape tomatoes on my way home from my friends house.

432 kcals so hoping that will do it for the day...oh! gotta have a couple of prunes later...got to keep regular, you know.

Michele, I'm hoping you at least had some memorable food on your trip

Long day began early, had to take the thyroid med, so didn't need to eat anything, and dh just had some yogurt and a protein bar.

Lunch at Lucille's, a barbeque place, had those little sliders and a huge ice tea, my goodness, the glass was like a vase!!

Starbucks on the way home, skinny mocha light frappaccino.

Dinner will be a piece of leftover chicken and leftover asparagus.

Evening snack: light laughing cow cheese that needs to move along it's way.
black coffee, leftover

Mary, I'll bet you are thankful that we can shop at Costco or Sam's, many seniors can't do that, favorite foods or not. My dh sure is glad to have the option. Do you buy paper products there too, I like their paper towels and the meat there is so higher quality compared to our Safeway up here.
