Thanks for the start, Doris...had to post tonight. Has anyone else gotten involved in the Kevin Bacon show, The Following, on Fox? I may go back and watch all of the shows again before the finale next week.

Good morning all. Got another 3 miles in yesterday and plan still on track. Alas, a red neck and am going to have to dig out my big floppy hat with the neck cover which makes me look like the crazy old lady wondering the streets.

Mary, I started watching The Following when it first came out but had to stop. It was just so depressing, I think because the good guy never won and there was no light at the end of the tunnel. Love Kevin Bacon though.

Another beautiful day. Thinking positive.

Well, I have to agree with pfair on the Following. I sure wanted to watch it because I love Kevin Bacon but I just couldn't make it through the show.

Did any of ya'll watch Bletchly Place on PBS after Selfridge? I have it recorded but a few of the people that I know who have already watched said it was GREAT. Looking forward to seeing it tonight.

Lots of aches and pains today. Will try to rest. Hope it isn't a flare up of Fibromyalgia coming on. ewww..

Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone.

Anne

Good mornin Doris, Pfair, Mary, Anne & those to come.

I like Kevin but cannot stay up that late- never ot around to TVOE.
Dang it is cold here but a warm up tomorrow and the a new cold front is coming??? Nutsy weather.
Got to go to Sam's for Rxs and then maybe pict up some plants.... I am late for me on that.
Last PT tomorrow after MAMO. I'll miss it but the house needs to be dug out from laundry and just generalized neglect... between gardening of course- the "NINES" are definitely in order for Nine in and Nine out!
bbl- have a good one.

Good morning,

We watched Bletchly Place, Ann. Thought it was OK. I hate mysteries that are improbable/too pat. May watch the next episode to see if it gets any better.

Howver, Call the Midwife could not possibly be any better. I really think it is the best series ever made for TV.

Off to tour a garden on the mainland this morning.

Doris - so sorry about the house. But I would take the appraisal very seriously. If the sellers aren't willing to lower the price to the appraised value or at least something very close to it, walk away.

Good morning all..moving around a little earlier than usual for me, just couldn't go back to sleep. Oh well, just means I'll sleep a bit better tonight.

Doris, good advice from Babette and I'm sure you don't want to hear this now, but, anytime I've had obstacles come up like that it always turns out for the best. Anytime, I've gone ahead anyway, it turned out wrong. It seems that the powers that be know us better than we know ourselves. But it's heartbreaking, I know so hugs and vibes coming your way.

Casino day for me...poker for sure and play the slots a bit (their money for sure). So it's feed the fur kids, get dressed and off to the races for me. Have a great day folks...

so bummed!

I have been very good at the low carb but I have not lost anything in 10 days it seems. I keep hovering around the 7 lb mark and for being on this 1 month...it sucks! I am ready to throw in the towel!

WisMs, I feel your pain. I can't lose while on strict lc either. Now I'm just making healthy choices and keeping portions under control. It's such a battle when you reach our age. I may never see the thin me again but I'm trying to be as healthy as I can be on this last leg of my life. Good luck to you on what you decide. Hang around with us as we are all doing different eating plans. It's open house here and you are welcome to join us.
