Wednesday's Food DD

Oh what a day Tried to stay busy as it helps make the time pass on my DD's and I don't think about food....reading FastDiet and coming up with a few ideas to make it easier for me...at least I hope so. I think I prefer the alternating days and with the amount I have to lose I don't think the 5:2 format would work as well. Maybe when I get closer to goal.

I was hungry today so had breakfast about 11 am, Dukan pancake with turkey bacon, coffee fore and aft.

s, about 5 p.m. a bit of cottage cheese, celery, cauliflower, and bell pepper.

S in a few hours, chicken breast and lo steamed veggies, green tea.

That's 470 kcals, but will probably do the popcorn bit for another 100 later.

Thursday's food UD

Energy high, tried to stay busy again today...commissary run and made a big contribution to fill the new freezer, including ice cream. Then, rooster comb to the left knee and my nephew was in town, so had lunch with him, then home again after a few more stops en route...

B. coffee, 2 eggs and 3 oz ham, a bit of cottage cheese and crystal light for the pills.

L. late, catfish and cole slaw with iced tea...

now it's supper time and I'm not hungry, of course. I am having an artichoke, they had some lovely ones at the commissary, with a glass of white zin

that's about a thousand kcals and don't know what else I'll have this evening. Now the freezer and the veggie bin are stocked maybe I can start planning my meals better.

Friday's Foods DD

Feeling good and was energetic this morning, now my tail is dragging, knees are barking and energy is flagging...come to think of it, the last few down days have been low-energy days...maybe I should restart having a bit of breakfast earlier...hmm, a consideration.

black coffee, hb egg about 12:30, then some dried squid and edamame with a diet coke when I returned from Wally World.

S. will be a small lettuce & tomato salad, will add a few other veggies...celery, cucumber and cauliflower for sure, don't know what else. Salad with grilled salmon will be good....probably iced tea or lemonade with supper as well.

375 kcals so still a bit left for popcorn later...

Oops, no microwave and didn't feel like popping the corn old-fashioned style...oh well, didn't need the calories anyway.

Well, Double M, dried squid has a slightly fishy taste and salty, it's sweet like lobster and very stringy..I buy it at the commissary but it's available in most Asian markets here. I acquired the taste for it in Japan...the beer gardens serve edamame (salted soy bean pods) with the squid as appetizer (you wrap the squid around a soy bean and suck the salt out of both)....so it's a walk down memory lane for me. Really missed the biru, tho'. and the sake which usually followed the biru...no beer on the down day.
