Thanks for the start off, Doris.

Rest in Peace, Annette. Hard to believe she is gone.

I'm off to my family doctor's tomorrow for my regular and will have him check my hemotama to see what he thinks. It is getting smaller so my body is absorbing it. Sure is taking it's sweet time. LOL talk about a PITA. It sure is.

Good morning. A rather bleak one here - very overcast, we need lights on in the house. Rain is forecasted for later.

Rich stormed into my bedroom this morning while I was sound asleep, acting like the house was on fire. He just got the cost figure from the contractor for the fencing. Really high. This contractor is a neighbor and claims he is giving us good prices. He doesn't put anything on paper. I left a message on his answering machine that I would like to see something on paper. How many feet of fencing the dog yard needs; how many 8' sections of picket fence and how many posts. Then I can 'see' the job. This is something every contractor should supply. If he gets P.O.d and threatens to not do the job, then I will know that something isn't right with his pricing. Now I'm mad at Rich for waking me up like that, esp when I'm not feeling well and the fever makes me groggy. This house of Cathy's is going to kill me. I'm too old and sick to deal with stuff like this. End of my early morning gripe.

Nothing on my agenda today. I'll probably be sleeping in my chair or bed most of the day. Fevers really wipe me out. I was thinking of making dinner for everyone but I don't know if I'm up for it. Plus Rich has to go out to the house to accept delivery of some antique wicker furniture for the porch for Cathy - at 6 pm, which will interfere with any dinner plans.

Linda, did you have a concussion with the hematoma? I just found out a week or two ago that I will have the concussion injury until I die. That's why I still have all the symptoms. I thought the symptoms would go away by now and was complaining about it. It took about 9 mos to lose the hematoma and black discoloration. Yes, a real PITA. This concussive syndrome is why I haven't been able to drive since the accident on March 1, 2012. I pass out periodically. It sure restricts my independence.

Whoever has my sun, I hope you enjoy every minute of it. Take care folks.

Good morning all...enjoying the heck out of the sun after our yesterday. I hear this storm is creating havoc in the Great Plains, tho. The high winds and cold weather is just not stopping...maybe this is the last throes of Winter and the sun will soon follow.

Casino Day for me, so looking forward to a little fun...hope your day turns around and you have a great one, too.

Verleen, you are a strong woman, and I send cyber hugs to you for sure!! Hope you get some good rest in today, I don't know how you do it.

Sending good vibes to Louise and her Bob, also.

Linda, wish your "boo boo on the back cheek" would heal up, but danged things like that take their own sweet time.

Gladys, glad you SLEPT!!!

Lainey, are you going to nap today, or would that mess up your timing?

Anne, have a good day, hope you don't have to rush all the day long.

Mary, have a good day and luck be a lady at the casino

Loretta, are you working at the hospice today? Have you planted any containers completely yet?

We went to the high school breakfast, talked too much, lol. The word has passed around already that we are moving, so it's kinda bittersweet now.

Take care of yourselves, friends.

Things have settled down a little and it is nearly time for Maggie to have a nap. So things are looking up...I had to go to the store and I was going to get some cheese/beef dip for my dinner tonight and while I was at the store I thought...I think I'd rather have spinach and artichoke dip so I bought all the stuff for that. Then as I was loading the car I remembered that I HAVE NO OVEN TO COOK IT IN. I sure felt stoopit! LoL...so back to Plan A and I got some dip from the Mexican restaurant.

Maggie and I got the new bed out front watered. It looks very nice. I got rid of the old scraggly azaleas and had some lantana put in around the trees instead. Now the bed is nicely mulched and looks very nice and neat. She got as much water on her as the new plants but it'll dry!

Have a great afternoon.

Anne

And, I just got back from a wonderful meal with about 30 others. Had prime rib which was done to perfection plus mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. Sweet tea to drink. It was a great couple of hours. Brought home enough for tomorrow's meal.

Verleen, how absolutely awful with what your neighbor is trying to get away with. My Gosh!!! Hope he puts everything on paper for you. In the mean time , it certainly would not hurt to get another estimate or two.

Yes concussion to the head with a large laceration, but the hematoma is on my butt and is resolving.

Was nice to get out and visit my mom and take her for a little ride in the new car. It has been a little over three weeks since I saw her.
Got my semi annual appointment out of the way and got my scripts refilled.

Nothing else of note.

Just getting here before bed. Looks like everyone had a busy day. We were out for a little ride to the town next to ours than back home for the rest of the day. Dh took the r. tiller to one of the planting beds and now we have room for more veggies. I think it will be spinach as we eat so much of that one.

Had a real nice in the 80's day. Sleep tight for fast healing for the ones who need it.
