Good morning. Thanks for start out Doris.

Woke with killer heartburn so up taking Alka Seltzer before daylight. Bought some 1/2 price Easter Candy and got into it like a fool.
Lady SuSun and Aaunt Jane are still in bed so I guess I'll go back and join them.
Got Laundry to do today and house and garden are always needing some work.

Hi Everyone,

Hope you get to enjoy a nice Spring day - I've got lots of errands scheduled for today (Gym, Dr.'s office to pick up paperwork, Dry Cleaners, Car Dealership, Grocery store, Bank, Dog Park, and some clothes shopping, if I have any strength left). Let's see how many of these things are still on the list tomorrow!

Hope to make my favorite spring dish tonight - Lime/Soy/Ginger Shrimp and asparagus on the side - yummmm....

Have some fun out there,
Michele

Oh, that sounds wonderful, Michele. Recipe please!

Nothing going on this weekend...YAY! I hope it remains quiet and peaceful. I have fought a terrible headache all week. Both stress and pollen. So I'm hoping to get rid of that for GOOD.

Have a good one, friends.

Anne

Me three on the shrimp dish, Michelle. It sounds delightful!!

LOL Doris, thanks for the start off with that hysterical picture. It's so true.

Didn't get in here yesterday at all. Sorry about that. DH was looking at new cars for me and I think we found one. Naturally another very reliable, new Toyota.

Good morning...foggy, cloudy and cool here as we've a big wind blowing in for three days. Can't be from Winetka as that's back east..just another front settlin' in over Nevada kicking it up Taking N out for grocery shopping today so I guess the car will be loaded as she fills the freezer, too. I'm sure you know what it's like with two teens and a toddler in the house.

Hope all y'all have a great day...enjoy Spring.

Hi gang!
I wish I could eat shrimp with even nothing on it, Michele, but the asparagus out now is great, we love it, and prices are good, at last.

Hi Linda, I wondered when you could feel up to car shopping, another stresser though. Enjoy it!

Howdy Anne, allergies are in high abundance now.

Lainey, how are your allergies doing, you live in an area of lots of "stuff" blooming now, too.

Susan, I forgot if you have to work today, or if you can go out with your friends.

Mary, enjoy the shopping and yakking, glad you are up for it.

Our Orioles are back, the male came a few days ago, and the female showed up, and is feeding at the sugar water feeder as though she starved on the way up here.

I need to get my thyroid meds, our little pharmacy in our small town isn't open on a Saturday

Back to the bike and trying to sort out "stuff"..............and that beat goes on.

Waving and smiling at everyone else who shows up to post today.

Popping in to wave at you all. It's a relaxing day here and not much to say.

Begete your picture yesterday made me laugh. Blue in his man cave! LOL!! Just 2 grocery bags is all you need.

I ended up riding to Costco yesterday. But had the whole inside to stretch my legs. We found a large tent for our son and his wife to enjoy. Will be taking it to them tomorrow. I did a quick stop to our heath market in the same area to get some grass fed beef. Those New York Strips were put on the grill last night. Yummy stuff! They had good looking zucchini and jicama too. Tonight will be zoodles.

Doris my orioles are here now too. The hummers are being nice and sharing there feeders with them.

See you all later.

Back from the grocery stores and am amazed at how much stuff costs today...I guess I don't realize it when I spend $100 or more on just a few things in the basket, but it really shows when you fill it full of meat, vegetables, and things teens will eat. She had a few things on her list that I knew were much cheaper at the neighborhood store, so I kept her from paying the higher prices and we stopped and got 'em at the much lower prices. AND, a local church was having a yard sale, so I picked up a wading pool for the toddler, too. Great price and also a Pyrex mini-measuring cup. I've been checking for one since I first saw one at a store...$5.00 for a shot glass size measuring cup, fer goodness sake, and $6.00 online. 'Twas only a quarter at the church, so I figure everything else I bought was free.

Now I've time to start working on the closets, but not sure if I have the incentive...going to see if I can at least start on one. How does one woman fill up four closets? I only emptied DH's last year and now I've filled 'em up and donated lotsa bags to the women's shelter. I knew I had a lot of clothes, but didn't realize exactly how much.

Hope your day is very productive and you've done all you planned today.

Sharon, what are zoodles?

Just popping in. Have had a busy day. Went to a benefit for the people who lost their homes in the landslide here last week, the farmers market, friends stopped by to see the boys.

At the benefit, they did not have a single thing we could eat during induction, so we stayed only a short time.

Tomorrow, unless it is pouring, I do my volunteer morning t the rhodie preserve.

Babette, not Sharon but I can answer the zoodle question as I'm considering getting one. A zoodler is a gadget that turns veggies into spiral cuts, thin like noodles. I'm using a parer to make zucchinni into thin little strips, like spaghetti, but think the zoodler would make a more eye appealing plate.

hope your day was good...

Mary has it right on Babette. This gadget is amazing. It spiral slices zucchini into spaghetti like spirals. D and I had zoodle Alfredo last night with already cooked chicken pieces and shallot for flavor. Wow is all I can say.

It's a Benriner Cook Help. Put in the Amazon search to see a picture.
