EXERCISE Week, March 30 - April 6

I'm getting this thread in now, have a "boxing" date with dh in a little while.

Warmer weather and some sunshine, that would be a nice "touch" right about now, Mother Nature!!! So those of us feeling the need to move and groove can get our butts out the door for some fresh air.

Shalbrihil 03-30-2013 08:22 PM

I sure will try to get out there Doris. Have a nice boxing date tonight. Night :D

mykneesareback 03-31-2013 03:49 PM

The 2nd. boxing match was better than the first one, but it was fun ;)

Did 2 hrs. 50 min on the bike today, and walking around the place sure isn't fun with this heel hurting, thank goodness I found a pair of softer heeled shoes to wear.

Have at it! :sing:

mykneesareback 03-31-2013 07:32 PM

Got mad and did some weights, weight bar with music, lol.
I can't do the sideways moves at ALL, until this heel thing gets solved.

Hoping the rest of you are doing ok, I know some of you are not physically able to bee bop around right now.

mykneesareback 04-01-2013 01:15 PM

2 hrs. 50 min. bike time, and some more weights that I didn't do yesterday.

Regular day here. Walk and workout upper and lower body.

Walking around at Benton, Kys 170th Tater Day celebration after watching the parade of old cars, old tractors, 2 bands, Shriner's and tons of horses.

mykneesareback 04-01-2013 04:19 PM

How fun, Loretta, I remember you telling us about Tater Day!! Glad you could enjoy being with the kids. :shake:
We had such a quiet Easter, can't remember a more lifeless one ever before.

Shalbrihil 04-01-2013 08:08 PM

Dh and I took the dogs over to the shopping center for our walk tonight. It was nice and flat which helped my knee. Scattered clouds and lovely sunset.

Not doing much of anything because of the fractures.
See the Plastic Surgeon tomorrow to see if I can at least bend over a bit. Funny, but the orbital floor implant for that fracture doesn't hurt one little bit.
Have to take it real easy for six weeks because of the lower back fracture.:stars:

mykneesareback 04-02-2013 04:28 PM

That six weeks off must be bugging the heck out of you, Linda!

Did 2 hrs. 45 min. on the bike, and that's it, doing chores and trying to rest.

Shalbrihil 04-02-2013 05:05 PM

Planning on taking the dogs out again after dinner to the shopping center circle around. It was nice last night so going to have another go tonight.

mykneesareback 04-03-2013 12:46 PM

2 hrs. 45 min. exercise bike, and chores right now, that's it for today, another day lost to errands and such.

Shalbrihil 04-03-2013 05:31 PM

I got a walk in and played around in some river rock. Bending and picking up the little ones for a planter box in our back yard. Fun time.

Loretta V 04-04-2013 01:22 PM

Exercise workout and walk yesterday. A long walk picking up cans along the road.

Exercise workout today so far.

LoveMontana 04-04-2013 01:55 PM

DH took me over to wal mart so I could walk for an hour and now my butt cheek hurts.:hyst:

Shalbrihil 04-04-2013 03:58 PM

:hyst: Linda, I feel your pain. My butt cheeks are hurting me today too!

I took the dogs to the park alone today. We are having a skylight put in our hallway and Dh had to stay behind. We've been wanting one for ages. Now we will be able to see the moonlight and the sun will light up the whole hall.

mykneesareback 04-04-2013 07:40 PM

How nice, to have that extra light in the hall, Sharon!!! Good thing!

Linda, too bad some rubbing won't help that cheek at all, not at this time anyway :dunno: ;)

I fail today, barely got in one hour on the bike, and was so danged lazy this afternoon, could have slept. Plus, dh had to actually wake me up this AM so we could hurry in for the blood fest, I usually never sleep like that, the woodstove starting up wakes me up after 5:30. Hope tomorrow is more "normal".

mykneesareback 04-05-2013 02:32 PM

2 hrs. 45 min. bike time today, and yes, had to go back into town to Fax that form, but this time it worked.

mykneesareback 04-06-2013 06:48 PM

Did 3 hrs. 10 min. bike time, and Jack LaLanne's chair exercises and light weights, now I'm pooped, lol. Busy day, lots of yakking.

MaryMary 04-06-2013 09:34 PM

I went to the park for a walk today. I feel like I have been in hibernation for 3 months. Over 12,000 steps today.

Loretta V 04-07-2013 06:44 AM

Linda take your time with that healing. Don't rush too much activity for now.

Managed a walk by the lake yesterday. John walked also and has started to do some exercises. My routine has fallen by the wayside for now.

All times are GMT -7. The time now is 01:56 PM.
