Yaaaa, on Michele's long week end! enjoy.

Verleen- could you put some Sargento extra sharpe sprinkles on those eggs? It is all real dairy and the eggs are a big protein you need. Oh boy! my appitite has come roaring back to normal for me.
I think my tracker is ok because being a techo dummy they helped me put it on.
Still cold this morning but have not checked the weather yet. I know rain for Easter Sunday.
P.T. today so will get a cracking.

Good morning friends. Oh its a good day. Knowing Louise is doing so well adds a bit of happiness. The world needs such talented artists.

We are heading out shortly to pick up my friend who's been wanting to see the new house. While out there, we are stopping for lunch. Cathy has not been out there once since she closed on the house. She has bought some furniture and will have it delivered when we're closer to moving in. She bought a 5 piece parlor set - antique in good condition, an antique tiffany lamp and some white wicker porch furniture.

When we're out there, neighbors bring their dogs out for a walk and stop to talk to us. They make comments to lead me to believe they know quite a bit about us. Its a nice quiet neighborhood. I'm trying to ingrain the thought in Rich that there will be no yelling or melt downs. He just had one yesterday. Accused me of moving his check. Then accused my housekeeper of moving it. Then he found it where he had put it. I made him call her back and apologize. He's a verbal bully.

That's the latest on us. Waiting hear some news from Doris. My figures are still crossed. Have a good day.

Good morning all...nuttin' much planned, so that means some kind of trouble awaits me somewhere on this Good Friday...Blessed day folks.

Verleen, when I first read your report of the delivered food. and the eggs especially, I was reminded of the C-Rations (the little cans of food and some dry packaging) we had before the MRE's (all dried food) were adopted by the military...at one time in Alaska we were fighting a tundra fire for 21 days...and, of course, due to the terrain and all they didn't supply us with hot food. We carried at least two packages of C-Rats in our mountain pants and ate when we could. I would try to get the packages that contained the eggs and was about the only one who did...they were really bland and tasteless so it was easy to trade for them if I wasn't lucky. The thing was that I had discovered those packages came with a small can of spam-like ham, a small can of cheese-whiz type substance, and the tiny bottle of Tabasco...so, I turned the tasteless glop into a ham & cheese omelet thingy and as soon as others saw what I was doing it was hard to trade for them. Also, it had to be heated to be any good, straight out of the can, cold, was the pits. Thanks for the memory.

Doris, I know the behind is happy to be back on the bike and the tummy is much happier with you being the kitchen.

Hope you all have a great day...I've got to package up some of my groceries finds so I can freeze 'em up....type ya later.

Yikes! I've discovered a bee hive in one of the trees near my house. Hopefully, I can find someone out to get rid of it today....

Gonna buzzzzz off now

Good Friday to All.

Thank You Michele for getting us off today. I think the bees are all still hibernating up here. Hope you manage to clear them off before the hive gets much bigger.

Glad to see several posting here already.

Nothing much planned here either Mary. This aft just preparing myself to go out with a few ladies from the Hospice Group. We are going to a pub where there is live music and a dance floor. I will just have supper and chat with them for a couple hours. I have work in the morning.

Wishing All a Happy Easter and a shower of Easter Blessings.

Hi! Enjoying my DS, DDIL, and DGS. The grandson who is 25 yrs old was a surprise for me. I hadn't seen him in over a year. They've spent today doing some small chores around the house. We'll be going out to eat shortly. Tomorrow, I think we're all going to Orlando.
I'll be back when I can.....

Hi everyone. We have fallen in love with two male almost identical litter mates who were found as infant strays back in October, taken to the shelter, fostered out til they got sick, returned to the shelter and who are now recovered, we hope.

Please see the new thread I posted about them and make suggestions as to names!

Just a quick note. So glad you have a couple of kids now Begete. I'm so glad for you.

Michele watch out for beehive. There are worker warriors that can really protect there hive.

I had a real nice birthday today. We got our walk in which is always a plus and couldn't have asked for nicer weather.

Verleen how fun for you to show your new home to your friend. Wish I were closer so I could come along. Have a love outing.

Back to reading. My kindle has a nice mystery waiting. Good nite all.

In a nutshell

Had a painful and HUGE hematoma on my lower back from the accident and it grew some more. Went to the ER at 4am and was admitted. Found a fracture of my slower spine and was put in for some minor pain control for an OVERNIGHT Visit.

Signed myself out against medical advice at almost 10 PM because the fuc**ig doctors dont' have their acts together. Admitting doc said , "see the neuro surgeon and you can go home if all is OK". All was OK, but admitting doctor was no where to be found.
Covering doctor said he would NOT discharge me until admitting doctor came back. SCREW IT, I signed out and the bastards told me that my insurance would not pay. We will damned well see about that.
