Been having more beef lately, and today had tilapia for supper, senior meal at Denny's. Otherwise, same old stuff. Having lots of free black coffee in the hotel/motel room now, feel better doing that.

Miss my zucchini.

Snack: nothing, water in the car

Tuesday's foods DD

Got carried away with the white chocolate raspberry truffle haagen Dazs and had a full cup, couldn't stop at a few spoons full...oh well, that's life, I guess...but it was certainly good. First time for it but it won't be the last.

coffee, hb egg before getting into trouble

tomato juice, olives, celery and carrot stick at the poker table

S. small cup of minestone, chicken breast and french bread toasted. and will have an orange diet soda later..maybe with a bit of cream, or not.

500 kcals and going to make it through the night without a further snack.

Glad you "allowed" yourself something good tonight, Mary, for heaven's sake.
We drove through that Mojave, Edwards Airforce base area on the way to Bakersfield, it was the first time we felt warmth on our arms.

Change the beef patty to Talapia, they make a nice grilled fish at Denny's, senior plate. Had salad instead of okra, this Denny's didn't have it.

Wednesday's Food UD

Welcome back to Californ-eye-a, Doris. Glad you could find some warmth in Palmdale. You're probably almost home as I write this...hope it's not too chilly inside and that you can warm up the house quickly. Get lots of rest tonight as tomorrow will be busy getting the paperwork done and all that catching up you'll have to do. Hope you keep a can of soup in the house for that quick meal before you sack out. (thanks for the idea of Denny's seafood, I have one less than two miles away and have been in it only twice in 18 years. DH didn't like them at all.)

Didn't stay out of trouble today...got in about two miles walking, but spent my time at Bed Bath & Beyond, World Trade, and two marketos...yep! I overspent every place. Feeling good, but knees are barkin'...maybe it's time to get them shot up again...last time was last summer.

B. coffee/milk, eggs Florentine and bacon, grilled bread, trop 50 for the pills.

Started as a late lunch but will probably do it for the day...chef's salad with added avocado, bell pepper and cucumber. Red wine vinegar for dressing. a couple of cookies from World Trade and a cup of decaf.

later, may have a sherry and sumpin' else...the rest of the Haagen Dazs, maybe

for now, it's 1000 kcals
