Thursday's food DD

Doris, I'll bet you're happy back home with a kitchen and back-to-normal food. If staying busy is the cure for DD's, today was a real winner. All the stuff is out of the garage, now I just have to clean up the detritus so the car is still in the driveway. I think Nadine is more excited about it than I am as she is a bit OCD and has wanted a clean garage for a long time...three miles on the pedometer with all the walking around. I made lunch for the crew and was a gooooood girl and had only a small cup of soup...hooray for our team.

B. coffee, hb egg

L. minestrone and a few veggies and a cup of coffee

S. two fish tacos, cod, corn tortilla, and cabbage with a bit of TB fire, diet soda.

450 kcals

I learned the technique from Maria Emmerich. You peel the eggplant, slice and sprinkle a little salt on slices. Let it sit while you beat some eggs up adding a little cream, some cinnamon and vanilla. Pat the eggplant and put in egg mixture. Coat well and place in a hot skillet that has been sprayed with oil of choice. Let it brown on both sides and remove. The eggplant is a bread replacement. I like it better than the bread slice way. I put a little butter and sugar free syrup on it.

Friday's Foods UD

Feeling good and got a lot done today, got the cheese and a package of tortillas separated and wrapped for the freezer. However, found the expense of fixing my hot tub was for naught, today I went out and found its' at only 94 degrees and then later it's not heating at all, atall! Oh well, a few hundred down the drain so to speak. Was so looking forward to a good soak tonight.

B. Coffee/milk, bacon, 2 eggs, grilled french bread and trop 50 for the pills, then more coffee.

Was putting up the sweets so I wouldn't be tempted and finished off a few chocolate covered cherries...later, Arnold Palmer

S. small salad lettuce & tomato, celery, bell pepper and pickled cucumber in red wine vinegar dressing (somehow I'm preferring just the vinegar, no oil), a bowl of minestrone with a couple ounces of Italian sausages and parmesian added. Had a slice of grilled bread to finish the loaf with my glass of pinto noir...more iced tea.

may have a cup of yogurt later with a few strawberries...so far

1500 kcals without the yogurt

Change in plans for dinner - got invited to the movies - will probably have either a chicken cesear salad or cheeseburger w/o bun.

Finally able to get back . Past few days have been pure hell.
Only had some vegetable soup, peanut butter and a chicken breast with some broccoli and decaf coffee.

Today we enjoyed ourselves.

Brunch was a cheese egg, real coffee and a V 8

Dinner: Chinese food,...chicken, seafood over miracle "rice" and egg drop soup.... low carb only and more coffee

Chardonnay tonight

Saturday's food DD

Sharon, let me know how you like the zoodler...I guess I can call it that. I've been thinking of getting one...it has some strong advocates.

Feeling good and hoping tomorrow will bring the whoosh fairy as it's my last weight-day of the month following a down day...actually I'm hoping I can make it down to my starting weight of the month...sigh! Two steps forward, one step back, then another step back...

B. coffee, egg beaters stir up with turkey bacon, bell pepper, a bit of cottage cheese and salsa...oh and don't forget the oat bran

no snacks today, just coffee and a glass of iced tea

S. light clam chowder, and ????

475 kcals..decided to add a grilled roll with it...so make it 585
