TUESDAY'S Roll Call, March 12
Sending prayers and strong thoughts for Louise's surgery on Tuesday to go smoothly and safely. And that Bob can handle it, too.
Lainey, hoping the PT helps you alot!!
Waving at Verleen in case she peeks in.
Off to finish more last minute stuff, dh's meds always are a worry to pack, you keep checking and rechecking, keeps me uneasy, I'm just an old fart when it comes to these trips. Fear of forgetting.
Take care of yourselves.
Louise is on my mind this morning also.
Doris,so you are off on that long trek to Texas this morning, take care.
Hi to Verleen and the rest of our gang.Hey Giinny where are you, hope it's just a break and not sick.
Begete, good luck on your new start, nothing wrong on new beginnings.
Lainey, what did you learn at the DR's?
Loretta,how was your walk,cold.
just a check in. Gladys I posted last night about the Dr.s appt.
Louise you are in my prayers.
I was missing Ginny, too, hope she is well and will check in with us soon.
It was a strange day yesterday. Hoping for a more normal one today. Ended up taking Maggie to the doctor. She is fine. But it was busy busy.
Waving to all...hugs to those who need them..
Thanks for our opening act Doris again.:jumpjoy:
Louise, that is just a wonderful blessing that former employer. People are full of good deeds.
Sending positive thoughts for a good outcome. Are you filling up on jello and clear soups? That is the worst part for me. I like my solid food.:yummy:
Glenda, Good to see your post. Were those folks from Canada or UK? Just wondering which fellow Country men. LOL! It does get confusing for this old gal.:stars:
Stay away from that nasty virus' if you can. As we say at Public Health good hand washing and just don't breathe! :D
Julie, sorry to hear you have that tummy bug. You are in Royal company; so does the Queen. I can see you have had to cancel one of your Royal engagements too. I sincerely hope you feel better soon, keep some fluids coming little and often as you know.
Thank you for letting us know about Ginny. She must be a busy gal having fun.;)
Anne, hope today is a calmer day for you.
I am enjoying our milder temperatures it is great to see the snow banks shrink.
Today, I have to pick up our tickets for St. Patty's night this Friday. I am going with two GFs it should be fun. Girls will be Irish dancing for us, then Irish stew corned beef and cabbage, then Cape Breton Fiddlers and a caller so a good Celtic night for all.
Then, I am finally getting one of those phone cards that you told me about Linda for my phone. $100 pay as you go so hopefully it will last a year. DD wants me to get a text package too. I don't think I need that.
Tonight I start a dance class to learn to Jive and Swing properly I am looking forward to that. Then I won't be so shy on the dance floor.
Tomorrow DS returns from his 3 weeks in Florida.
Doris, you asked if he will live in NY. No, he will live in Florida. It is just a base as he will fly to different States as needed and he can work from home too.
Lainey, hope the pain subsides for you dear friend.:hugs::heart:
Mary, hope the tailwaggers didn't have you up too early today.;)
Gladys, How is C these day and your GD? DGD has a new pony now. They bought this one, the pony is so cute and well trained. So we hope to have a good show season this year with her.
Hope to bbl...:hiya::heart:
Good morning all...I've been drinking so much coffee, I dragged the ol' pot out and made that this morning instead of using the K-cups...so much cheaper (I've got to learn to pick my splurges...think I learned my lesson about buying stuff on line, it took almost $40 to return a package yesterday....sigh!)
Susan, the fur kid has me up at daybreak every day...today he was coughing up some stuff. I hop back into bed and try to get some more winks, but can't go back to sleep sometime.
Hugs for those who aren't feeling well or are on the road...be careful out there, folks, if the roads aren't slick, there are a lot of crazies out there.
For me, it's a short hop to the casino for some poker. I'm hoping for better cards as the last time I played, I took only one hand...another sigh!
Good morning! It's still morning here in Calif. for 1 more hour. Safe travels Doris and Louise thinking of you as you go through your surgery. That was just wonderful for you ex employer to furnish your medical extension so you are covered.
Mary good luck on your cards today. Hope the table stakes brings you home a winner.
I have Dh busy building planter frames for your garden today. We are finally going to plant raised framed beds this year to see how we like it. I'm going to have one in my yard to brighten up the grass area with pretty flowers too. I sure hope the weather holds and the cold nights are gone so I can start planting. My green thumbs are getting itchy for the soil.
I've been watching some YouTube to learn how to make Rev. Rolls. They look like fun and think I'll try making some today. There was one that was like a Cinnamon style that looks like a nice tasty one to try.
Update on our Worm Farm. We had to bring them inside some nights this past winter but over all they are wiggling away with a lot of wee babes in the mix. I'm planing on adding some of there black rich leavings to the soil when we start to plant.
Time to check on Dh and make sure he's still working. A forewoman's job is never done. HAHAHA!
Have a nice day everyone!
I am also thinking of Louise this morning and hoping for a very good outcome.
Not sure if I'll make it for poker today or not...waiting for the AC man to come out and if he comes too late, not going any where. I reported a frayed wire on the air conditioning unit some time ago and just remembered yesterday I hadn't heard from him, so I called again. With our temps warming up, I want to be ready in case I need it. Waiting tomorrow, too, for the spa guy to come out and fix the heater element there.
I know you all feel the same way I do...so much I used to take care of and now I can't...grrrr! I miss doing for myself and having to ask others for help. I know, I know, I shouldn't feel this way but I still feel as tho' I'm only 40 or younger...oh well, I guess that comes with the territory.
Got lucky, he just showed so maybe I'll be able to go in a bit...bbl, maybe.
Mary, I hope you getting lucky with the AC man showing up that you are on a winning streak at the casino. Enjoy and TTY tomorrow...
Well, it was a precursor...I booked a nice win at the slots, although I lost at the tables. I did take more than one hand, tho', so it was good....thanks for the thought.
