Walked the rest areas, seem to all be located "uphill", lol.
Ankle/foot still hurts, if we get home tomorrow night, might try to get into doctor's office on Thursday already instead of Monday.

Walking around this motel, flat hallways at least, and a nice lobby with a fire in the fireplace, it's still chilly, but not like the other states were.

Needless to say I've not done much of anything this past week and a half.

Back at it as soon as I heal.

We finally got out with the dogs and went to the lake park. It was just right weather. We are hearing that this weekend will bring some rain. We sure need it. On the way home I had Dh stop off at BBB so I could get a digital timer. They had a nice one that is easy to figure out.

We hit the highway at 6:30 this AM, and arrived home around 4 pm, did stop for lunch and gas, Calif. prices are always the highest of any place we have been to.

My heel still hurts, will call and make an appt. for next Monday, we simply have to get the paperwork sent off tomorrow, come heck or high water, and my doctor is not in on Friday's, and I want only him! Will do the bike tomorrow, maybe that will help instead of walking around too much. Can't help walking around, always something to do or look at, etc.

Plumb tuckered out, need to take some stuff off of the bed and crash soon.

Have a good night, friends! Walking sounds so good, danged ankle!!

Doris do you think it is plantar faschitis?

You could try the high heel trick.

Too long walks yesterday. John and I were scouting out a new fishing place by the lake. Lots or winding road and rocks. We even went up to see a wayside cemetary from 1880 or there abouts when the TVA chased people off their homesteads to make Kentucky and Barkley lakes. We saw a few concrete pads of sorts and March flowers that were planted on those spots. (homes?)

Thinking about you and your healing, Linda.

Yes Loretta, my heel matches all of the symptoms shown for that plantar thing, and I couldn't put on a high heel to save my life right now, lol. The worst is in the AM, but, limping around is no fun, as anyone else that has had that knows. Have an appt. with the doctor on Wednesday. Probably will get to wear one of those boot thingees.

Did get in 2 hrs. 20 min. bike time, hardest thing is getting on and off.

Need to get the dish washing done, dinner into the oven, and strawberries plucked.

Did 2 hrs. 45 min. on the bike, and little else that counts besides the usual chores and talking business on the phone. But it's ok...............

Glad you still feel good enough to get out and walk, Sharon.
Good thing the weather was nice, seems we are getting some moisture tomorrow later on in the day.

Did 2 hrs., 45 min. on the bike today, and just assorted walking and staying on my feet too long, not good for the ankle and heel, but oh well.

I'll post the new thread, finally, later on tonight before bedtime.
