Felt lousy yesterday and must have had a 24 hr tummy bug because by bed time I was rocking and moaning on the "throne"... added otc anti-big D to my 2 daily Rx meds and finally slept well.
Errands day for me as well. SS deposit day is so fun but sure am glad I can make my bill payments and eat for myself and kitties. I et State help or would never make it on 1,264.00 per month. No mortage or car payments thanks be to G*d.
Time to get moving into this Day- another gray one and for the week end maybe as well.

Winter weather continues here in Ky. Snow this am and that will probably keep folks away from our Fish Fry tonight. No accumulation and the temp is suppose to get up to 40 º this afternoon.

Prayers for all those in need of them. Health problems can be a real worry about many things. Our minds become taken over. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Good morning, good afternoon or good day, depending on your time zone...slept in a bit this morning as I kept waking up throughout the night. One of those where you wake up every couple of hours and can't go back to sleep...oh well, comes along every once in a while. Our temps will be setting new records today; looking for the upper 80's so I'm happy.

Did you hear about the fire in Jurupa last night? I guess they're still trying to find out what started it but they've claimed it was a down power line....burned a couple hundred acres of park and river land. I saw the smoke as I was driving home from the casino and it looked pretty close to my house...it wasn't but from a distance it appeared so.

We have very strange rivers here, in case you're not familiar with them...all within the various city limits and most on the outskirts have cement banks, so they are contained when we get a lot of rain. Most of the time they may have a trickle of water running through them, but they grow trees and weeds, that are allowed to grow wild...many times the homeless will camp out in the river beds and it can be very dangerous when we do get a lot of rain or our fires run amok.

Well, guess I'd better get running as I'm off to the cpa to have the taxes done, finally got all the paperwork together.

We're bumping 90 here on the Central Coast. It's nice to have a fan to sit in front of. Thinking of Begete and all the fun she's having. Hope she feels like sharing some vac. pictures. Hawaii has some beautiful areas.

I've been enjoying a mocking bird that decided to stop by. That is a sure sign Spring is close by.

Well, no record temps in the Inland Empire, I guess it all stayed up north a bit...Imagine having to use a fan on March First, Hope you're staying cool, Sharon.

Just did the crossword puzzle for the day and, of course, had to peruse the front page for what's happening. Just saw that Bonnie Franklin, the mother in the old TV Show, One Day at a time, succumbed today and Dale Robertson died yesterday....two of my heroes as I was growing up.

Hey guys, I had an excellent salad last week and am wondering if anyone has a dressing possiblity for it....it was a fennel and mandarin orange in a fairly tart and sweet dressing. I'm thinking a bit of the juice with white wine vinegar but drawing a blank on adding any seasoning. Any suggestions?

I guess it's about time for me to break my fast, so see y'all later.

Popping in to say a good night. Been a busy day doing the usual laundry, cleaning,shopping and all that goes with that.

Might need to start looking for a new flat screen TV for my computer room tomorrow. Darned thing is acting up and it's only about 3 years old.
