One day is the same as the other here.Fixing biscuits for C's breakfast,since surgery he has gotten addicted to them.lol Just taste like flour to me.
Got a new barn cat yesterday,for some reason the others left. The mice love bird feed and at $50 a sack I'm not happy plus very unhealthy for birds,need one or two more cats.Life on a farm.

Ms. SuSun wanted out at 4: am this morning and since I knew she would want back in in 10 mins. or so I went ahead and made my instant coffee and steamed her shrimp and took my thyroid/ big D meds. Now is is close to 5: am so I guess I'll stay up.
Hoping to hear from Louise and Verleen today.
Begete, only 7 lbs? Spring is nigh so the arden will kick ain down but you are riht to leap back in the wagon as well. You got pics for us?
Guess I'll read some of my Steven King's book IV of the Dark Tower till it gets light.
Rain and lots of it is gone and in the 50s but a cold front for tomorrow. Trees are budding here so it won't be long now.
A bit of nausea so I guess I must start taking my night pills a couple of hours later so the time span will not be so long between the diabetes meds. It goes away when I get them down after the hour wait after the thyroid meds so really think that might be the problem.
Ooooh, Mary- cornbread mustn't ever have sugar just like iced tea mustn't ever not have it. My Stevia In The Raw is a great sub for sugar but still not the same.
To the gas station and the library this morning. No plans for the rest of the day after that.
Need to see if Aaunt Jane wants back in now. I feel like a "kitty doorman" some times.

Good morning all, Lainey, I can feel for the doormat as I'm waking earlier in order to put puppy out...don't have faith that he'll find his way out even tho' I've not had any gifties since the second day. I'm sure he's used to the doggie door, but first thing in the morn? not too sure.

Anyway, here it's sunny and above normal temps, we're looking at 85 degrees today...I love it.

Taking puppy to the groomers this morning...his first cut...right now he looks like a moving fur ball. Not really familiar with poodle cuts, but I think they have a puppy cut that is kinda short all over. At least I'll be able to brush him to keep the snarls out. I'll trust the groomer as she used to take care of my cocker and did a great job. I swore I'd never have another long-haired dog, but I guess I'll keep him, tho' I'm still asking why I'm taking on a puppy at age 72.

Nuttin' else planned for the day as I don't know how long the groomer will take, it's usually a couple of hours...reminds me, I have to give my other dogs a bath and clip their nails...hmmm, may do that today as it's nice and warm.

So, hope y'all have a good day and the winter winds aren't blowing too badly and the snow is not too heavy and the roads are not slippery where you are.

Hi All,

The storm is here! The snow has been falling steadily all morning mixed with freezing rain.
We are expecting quite a dumping, the snow trucks are out and about already.
I would normally stay off the roads all safe and cosy at home. DD wants me to go over to her place this aft and stay over night, her DH is in Brazil all this week, so I will venture out in about an hour to see how the driving is. I will of course take it slow. Little old lady driver that I am.

My Lainey, You were up early this morning. I hope you can manage a nap with your kitties today.

We don't have snow, and winds, so lucky about that, but it's STILL so danged cold here, back area still has snow, patio sidewalk still jutting up, don't know if it will ever sink down again. lol

Busy planning husbands pilgramage to the Vietnam Memorial, finding out it's gonna be a long haul, especially in DC, too many highways, too many trails and paths for someone easily upset by such things......he doesn't seem to understand how it is there.

Susan and Linda, hoping you don't lose power.

Anne, how are "things" going there?

Lainey, how are you feeling tonight, tummy still upset?

Gladys, what happened to all your cats, do you know if it was an animal or something?

I'm getting blurry eyed looking through travel pamphlets, small print, lol.

We head down to the valley early in the AM, dh has his blood tests 3 hours away, at the other lab, so they have results for next weeks appt.

I'm getting in later today. Dh is cooking and I'm in here reading posts. We've been enjoying wonderful weather. It looks like it will hold for a few more days so that's a good thing. Took the fur kids to the park for a nice walk but not much else happened besides my kindle reading. Tomorrow will be some shopping as food supply needs to be replenished.

Missing a couple of Goldens. Hopefully Verleen and Louise are doing ok and just too busy to post right now. It sounds like Begete had a nice cruise. Looking forward to hearing all about the fun time.

Doris, you may do better staying at a hotel out side of DC and taking a bus or limo tour into the sights in Washington itself. There is really no place to park in that mess.
