Going to stick with it, if it takes me another year to lose what I want, it's okay...it really isn't a sprint...hope you ladies don't mind my using this forum as a place to vent and list my emotional ups and downs...I should be putting it into my journal, but this is so convenient.
my evening snacks included a few filberts and a bit of cottage cheese with some blueberries...total kcals are about 600 for the day. and having a cup of decaf tea now. |

Mary, sounds like somethings "fishy" today, lol, glad you ate so well. I get into a "fishy" mood rather often, too, but am allergic to shellfish. Don't worry about venting, why do you think so many boards have members who have been on them for years and years, I've been on here around 9 years, Linda has been on longer than that. I have 2 other boards that I've been on for 10 years at least................
Thursday's foods B: nothing Brunch: eggs, bacon and a waffle and several cups of black coffee Snack: Starbucks skinny mocha frappachino D: 2 eggs and some aging spinach leaves and onion, scrambled. Black coffee Evening snack: one whole grapefruit and some Baby Bel cheese and black coffee.

Gracious! I lurked for a long time before joining but it's hard to think you've been on here that long...but with the friendship you developed with some of those who have passed on, it's not surprising. Looking forward to the day I can say I've been on this forum that long.
It is strange, I know I should be eating fishy stuff several days a week, but it seems as tho' I'll go a long time without any, then pig out on it. I really wasn't planning on it for today, but realized if I didn't use it today I'd lose it and didn't feel like doing that. I usually don't eat that much fried foods, but couldn't resist it today/ Hope your trip to the flatland went well. It's a real shame DH wasn't able to get into the closer doc's office, but it's probably for the best, don't you think? Sometimes it's really hard to change doctors in which you have confidence. I just wish we had changed my DH's nephrologist sooner as she was so much better than the old one. BUT we can never second guess what has happened. |

Feeling good and enjoying the sunshine. CPA's taken care of the taxes and I have way too much money coming back...I really hate lending them my money during the year. But, next year I'll be in trouble filing as a single person so will have to make payments to keep from owing too much at the end of the year.
had black coffee until I ate at 1530...couldn't last until later so will probably have some popcorn later. turkey breast, eggplant in a Parmesan crust with a sauce made from the egg beaters and parm that I used to make the crust. a bit of pickled veggies. decaf with hood's popcorn later 397 kcals |

Blew my down day...made the fennel salad with fresh pineapple, did the popcorn, then saw the graham crackers and peanut butter with a glass of milk...wound up at 900 kcals, so it turned into a MD....grrrrr! Throws the rotation off but that's okay, sigh!
