I'm starting the thread very early, want to go to bed and read my "Reminisce" magazine, to be honest, the only time I have to ponder, lol.

Let's have a good Wednesday, and wishing safe travel to Begete, and Linda heading back home, Lainey off to her appt., and sorry but I can't remember anything more.

Nooo, the big G had to be hammered to come out. Sometimes I will hammer the g if it is really needed to make sense. Ms. SuSun hooked her nail under the
G and pulled it riht out when I lifted her off the Key board. I stuck it back on but doesn't work riht now. Story of my life I guess.
Damp but not too dreary today- just enouh to bring on the aches and pains. Missed my cancer support roup for this month this mornin. Also did not make my junior hih school chums memorial. uess I am near bout a hermit.
Will do house work today after takin some pain meds.
Beete- enjoy that cruise and tropical island stay. Lucky you but I know how heavy your heart is feelin.

Just got back from my second ever pedicure. Ladies, you've got to try one if you haven't already, they are so relaxing.

Doris, I'm "down" from Julie about 75 miles, maybe more. We have sun today but thunderstorms later, nothing concerning that I know of. It's breezy here today, not exactly a Chamber of Commerce day.

Our realtor guy (remember, we're trying to sell our home) called yesterday while we were out on the golf course. He brought a couple in to see the house, which was fine, but now I'm anxious to hear something.......anything.
This is the first anyone has seen the house since we put it on the mkt. in November.

DH is golfing today and I made sure he took his phone with him, obviously keeping it on vibrate.....just in case.

Doug, once again you missed the liver and onions/ mashed potatoes/ corn and gravy last night, mmmm.

We sure enjoyed watching the Westminster Dog Show the past two nights. I think I've done that for many a year. I just love seeing all those beautiful dogs.

I am off to the movies this aft with 3 other ladies from the Hospice Walking group. I suggested we get together mid week and a few were up for it. So this might become a regular thing that we do on our own.

Ginny, thanks, but I have found a local restaurant that gives me my "Liver fix" when needed.

Jo has started planting the garden this week. Going to do the tomato starts in pots instead of the garden this time around. It leaves more room for other stuff.

Woo-hoo and Boo-hoo Glasses in the mail today....and that's a good thing....better, but I think my eyes have already changed, or this is the wrong prescription....sigh! Maybe I just need to adjust to 'em but they sure don't feel right...still can't read with right eye unless it's more than ten feet or less than five inches....my next appointment with the eye doc is next Wednesday, so I'll have a week to adjust...sure hope that's all it is.

Went to Wally world and walked around with the new glasses and at least got used to walking with 'em. Found a cute lounging set on clearance and when I got it home, the top fits, the pants are waaaaaay too big in the waist...but at the price, I can do a simple mending job....so here I sit in a cute outfit and it's a DD, so can't even have a glass of wine to enjoy the lounge....sigh!

Can't remember who gave me the recipe but today I did a whole chicken in the slow cooker with lemon and fresh thyme...the smell is driving me (and my fur friends) crazy. Looking forward to a delish supper, so thanks to you. This is the first time I've cooked in the slow cooker without adding any broth...didn't know you could do it. And, of course, I have a potful of luscious broth to go with the tender chicken....

Oh, have some wine, Mary, you are a big girl, . I sure hope you get "used" to the glasses, I've never known anyone who had new glasses that were not quite right, but they improved with time, before. I've had to have glasses changed twice myself, but didn't wait too long to complain about them, and at least I didn't have to pay extra.

So Ginny lives south of Julie, ok, trying to put that image in my head.......Ginny, hope you get a nibble on the house, now. Are houses selling around you, sometimes that helps, too.

Gladys, so you finally see the sun today, yippee!!! The kitties can dry out, too.

Off to finish some kitchen chores again. We still have ice out back, but the gutters are beginning to drip during the day, at least.
