Rained most of the night but now has moved on.
Got cats and hubby fed so nice start to the day.lol
Another day of same old.
Doris,it easier to shine than to raise.
Yesterday we found out the new ggchild will be a boy,Gabe the big brother was very happy.Heidi told him she would bring cupcakes to his class and the icing would be either pink or blue,he was happy to see blue.

We have Gladys's rain if anyone is wondering! Cooler today. Had an influx of ants in the kitchen the last few days. The bug man came and put out stuff and resprayed the house. He said they are everywhere. Had a panicked call from a restaurant in a nearby town that said they came from nowhere in a hurry. Mine did, too. Anyway, this morning I am ant free, whew.

My new cat does not like the rain. She has been in and out 4 times already this morning. HA...can't explain it to a cat! Ziva doesn't like to do her business in the rain!

Going for another cup of coffee.
Enjoy the day ya'll
Anne

Good morning all...with all the wet and cold that's hitting back yonder, I can't complain about our mid-30-temps last night and the piddlin' quarter inch of rain we're expecting today/tonight. Hope you are all staying warm and dry. Still expecting my new eyeglasses in the mail and hoping they come in today.

More crazies in the news...now we have a former policeman who is stalking and shooting other policemen...sheez! What gives with people nowadays? I sometimes think the whole world is going insane.

Catch y'all later...

A hot one here, mid 80s. Maybe rain later, but not to great of a chance.

Been busy doing this and that.

Doris, you'll appreciate this, it's part of the "husband" kerfluffles. DH cut a teeny, tiny skin tag off his shoulder last evening. He's on coumadin, need I say more???? I guess it bled for at least 2 hours, I gave up and went to bed. I kept suggesting we go to the ER for a stitch but NO WAY was that happening. I had to wash bed clothes this morning, along with towels, pajamas. What a mess!

Anne, you don't have a sandbox for Ziva? Guess you don't really need one, you don't get horrible snowstorms which would be a good reason to have one. Linda, thinking of you and that massive storm.

I'm actually cooking supper tonight. Spaghetti and meat sauce. However, the spaghetti is Shirataki noodles. The noodles are very low carb and low fat. We can't tell the difference between them and real spaghetti, especially when you put stuff on them.

Mary, hope those glasses came today and yes, that's horrible about that policeman. Hope he's off the street soon.

Lainey, DH had laser surgery on both eyes for glaucoma. Not at the same time, but he was quiet pleased with the outcome. I think he had a little irritation at first, he wouldn't really say.

It's drizzling here now, I guess more to come perhaps tomorrow.
I actually went out and walked two miles (one each way). It did a job on my back, but I never stopped , just kept going till I got home. Good thing I have a heating pad.
Long story short...I stupidly ordered some really nice hair and skin products on line for no charge. They all came and are beautiful first-class products and the packaging is outstanding. Anyways, I thought small samples would come and then you can order. Well, wrong! Full sizes came, you have up to 30 days to decide if you'll continue to get the products. You have to return any unused portion in order to cancel the future re-orders and very expensive billing. So, the skin products are going back in the mail tomorrow. I will use the hair products a few times, then cancel/return the whole thing. And, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! They're much, much too expensive for me..

Just a quick run by. We just got home and now I'm in the mood to store some of my clothes in this big bin I bought. It's going to be so nice to have more room soon.

Linda that storm looks like it means business. Stay safe and warm during the hunkering down time.

Ginny men can be so stubborn. Does he at least have a bandaid on the area yet?

Julie you are definitely doing the right thing with sending that back. Good going!

Time to get busy. BBT

Just time for a quickie, Linda, do you have snowshoes??

Ginny, I do OH SO MUCH know exactly what you are talking about, dh is having skin cancer surgery on Monday, and it scares me more than him. How is your dh doing now, though?? Oh goodness.

Sorry to be abrupt, we had snow but it went away for now.

Someone wants fried chicken for dinner, so off I go, got out the Betty Crocker 1957 cookbook, because I haven't made fried chicken since the "kids" were here, at least 15 to 20 yrs. ago.

Hope you guys got through your day ok.

Wonder how Verleen is doing today, and if the paperwork on the house is moving along in a smooth way? And picking out wallpaper, oh man, that can take a long time.................

Anne, how old is your new cat now, anyway, I can't remember anything anymore.

Julie, those kinds of deals are aimed at us, bet you never do that again!! Our local newspaper warned everyone that someone is calling people up and saying they are from microsoft, and offering to fix their computer up for free, and then getting all kinds of info from people willingly giving it out, big no no. There have been at least 6 people in our small county who answered the phone, and someone saying they were the person's grandson, and he was in jail in Mexico, and needed a large sum of money to get out, and THEY sent the money!!! Hard to believe the stuff people fall for. Doggone it!!!

Take care of yourselves, friends. Off I go, washing dishes time for me.
Be careful out there.

Yes, yes he has the spot covered and taped with electrical tape???
No problems today. He is going to uncover it tomorrow (NOT tonight)..........thanks for the thoughts.

Julie, same thing happened to me when I ordered Acacia pills years ago. I had to do some fast maneuvering on the internet so we wouldn't be charged. That parade won't ever march again. Ha
