Friday's Foods UD
Just not feeling up to anything as the weather really gets me down. Gave up on the stopping and had the gumbo without the gumbo...African word for okra...will finish it up tomorrow with the crab and okra...tasted pretty good, tho' so it was worth it.
B. oatmeal with craisans and ginger, trop 50 for the pills, and coffe/coffee/coffee S. (early) gumbo, brown rice, a few shrimp and a chicken leg...finally got the leftovers out of the fridge and into the pot...so now more leftovers. Only 900 kcals, so a long way to go to reach goal...sigh!

Ok, I've made Kale chips 3 times, and they arn't for me, they taste like, let's see, cigarette ashes smell. The ones in the bag that the store sells have a coating of some kind, no doubt to give them some better taste....
Just my opinion, of course. Mary, do you have a sore throat now? Wondering if you are getting a relapse is why I ask, I'm sure you will tuck yourself into a warm bed tonight! Waving at the rest of "our gang" here. ![]() |

Sunday's foods DD
Thanks, Doris, no sore throat...just a bit of a cough, so I'm shaking the cold. Just the weather getting me down, and a lack of ambition. At least got the house cleaned up today and got out a bit...still cloudy here and we've got a freeze alert but 80's on the horizon later this week...Gotta love the weather. Still feeling for the folks in the N.E. what a winter they've had.
couple cups of coffee, then a hb egg about noon.. s. celery, carrot sticks, bell pepper and 5 olives S. 1/2 cup brown rice, 1/2 cup gumbo with about 3 oz chicken breast, and a few pickled veggies under 500 kcals Last edited by Mssarge; 02-09-2013 at 05:10 PM.. |
