Good morning all,
My heart is aching for Babette and Pandora. Hope the night went ok. Nothing going on here. Got to get some things done before I pick Maggie up from school. I watch The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel last night. I had seen it in the theater but it was even better the second time, I think. You could concentrate on the dialog not being distracted by the story and scenery. At least to me. Now I'm looking forward to the movie Quartet that should open soon. That one is based on a true story. Really looking forward to it. BBL gang. Anne |

Thanks for starting, Gladys.
Also have Begete and her Pandora on my mind during the night, and also thinking of Lainey. ![]() Off to do the bike and get going with some chores and keeping dh happy.....not always easy lately, either. Be careful venturing out, we have 20 degrees and ice all over this morning. |

Good morning everyone,
Thanks for the start off Gladys. Sure hope you can get a good nap in later. Enjoy that ham. It's the best I cooked one yesterday and will enjoy it thoroughly for a couple more days. Anne, have fun with Maggie. Doris, yes, Babette and Pandora have been on my mind too. It's so very hard to lose a much loved animal companion. ![]() Changing the beds and doing laundry today. BBL. |

Anne, we loved The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, glad you got to see it again.
I've been waiting for Quartet to come out also, down here it's only in Tampa. Wonder what's up with that? Hopefully it makes it out to the middle of the state. One of my friends is a real opera lover and we plan to see it as soon as we can. Cold morning here, low 40s. We don't like that but our hometown has a temperature of minus 6, wind chill of minus 26, we don't like that either. We're going to Lakeland's old theatre tonight to see and hear Arlo Guthrie. He is touring around, celebrating his dad's (Woody Guthrie) 100th b'day. Should be different, but we loved all those songs back then. Peaceful, comforting thoughts to Begete and Pandora. Ginny |

Good morning all...sunny and warm in SoCal so feeling for all who are shivering and sending good vibes to keep your day rolling.
Ginny, I just watched "Alice's Restaurant" a couple of weeks ago. The first time in a long time and it was as good as I remembered it. Also, saw Arlo on TV not too long ago and was wondering who that old man was...no resemblance at all to the Arlo of my memories. He still sounds as good, tho', so it should be fun. Enjoy the memories. Nuttin' planned for the day so am going to try to stay out of trouble. Hope you all have a great day and sending out vibes to Begete and Pandora, wishing for the best.

Here I am finely. I've been waiting all morning for my internet and glad that I had some podcasts to listen to while I waited.
Bagete and Pandora are in my thoughts as well. It's always so hard to lose a dearly loved pet. Anne and Ginny I have The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel in my DVD library and love to see it. I didn't get a chance to see it in the theater. The ones with bad weather make sure you don't get too cold and for the ones with nice weather get out in the sunshine. Check back later.

Thank you for all the very kind thoughts. She is not getting any better. I bought some baby food -turkey and veggies- at the grocery store, kneel by her basket, and when I rub a little on her mouth, she licks it off. She doesn't seem happy, and if I hold a spoon of it near her mouth, she turns her head away. Maybe if she can eat a little, she would feel better, but this is the third day with zero food other than what I just described, and she can barely lift her little head.
