Monday's Eats DD
Thanks, Doris, I need the understanding that chocolate gives....sigh!
I was hijacked today...went to the mall for a walkabout and when I was going by the Olive Garden, my car turned into the parking lot and wouldn't move until I went in and had lunch...that's my story and I'm sticking with it. I've been craving their zuppa Toscana so went in for my fix. coffee/hood's all morning, and a boiled egg about noon lupper - Olive Garden salad, dressing on the side, zuppa Toscana and I caved, had mussels with a couple of bread sticks...sigh! and a glass of iced tea. T'was good and I don't regret it...it's only a bit above my goal 600 kcals...no room for snack but I'll have 100 calories or so. So I'll be a bit over...

Wednesday's Food DD
Wednesday all ready? Where's the week going? Missouri is famous for the pee-cans and back when my momma (who was a backwoods mama) used to pick 'em, we never bothered with freezing them...but then we usually cracked and ate them most nights during the winter.
B. Breakfast? hmm? coffee/hood's, then later had a couple of shrimp and a bite of greens beans whilst putting away last night's dinner from the Styrofoam containers they packed 'em in. later had a turnip and a few carrots with a diet soda S. Soup with cheese bread... 600 kcals |

I am feeling better today. It was part bug and part worry over DD. i got down on my knees, as someone suggested, and prayed, asking God to show my DD His will for today. I turnedd her over to Him. Then I got tough with her. Told her one week of crying was enough and if she wanted to go to college, she had to get her act together. I told her she was tough and could dig down and draw on that strength. So far so good.
B- 8 oz greek yogurt, 8 oz cooked apples L- 4 oz chicken, 8 oz mushrooms, onion, kale and spaghtti sauce, 8 oz salad, 1 tbsp dressing S- 4 oz haddock, 8 oz kale, zucchini & summer squash, 16 oz salad, 3 tbsp dressing Last edited by MaryMary; 01-31-2013 at 03:40 AM.. |
